We arrived at the restaurant and were given a set menu. It sounded like a good idea. Having pleasant experiences from previous visits, we decided to stay. As appetizers we were given a selection of cheeses from which one type seemed mouldy. We asked the staff to clarify what cheese it was, the lady brought us all types but none of them had mould on them and smelled like old cheese. Never mind. We got the main meal, which was pasta with pork meat. The meat was nicely cooked but the sauce was burnt. I could not finish it, no matter how much I tried. Simple as that - I won't be coming back, which is a shame, because I liked this venue and was always happy to eat here. Maybe it was the set menu that wasn't thought through. The staff and atmosphere are always very nice.

The cheese didn't look like the one in the package..naturally there was no mould on the packed one. The Mould I am talking about was an extra white fluffy substance on the cheese was white. Took a picture but I am not sure if it is clear enough. Furthermore, I am aware what taste italian cheeses have, I have lived here and I am familiar with the cuisine. As for the sauce, there is nothing wrong with my palette, I was visiting with a local who noticed the taste first. Simply giving you my opinion. We shared the first issue with the waitress, but didn't bother to bring the sauce up as we just wanted to leave. Nothing would have been done. Un'esperienza gastronomica davvero memorabile che ha superato tutte le aspettative. Appena entrati, siamo accolti da un ambiente elegante e raffinato, ma al contempo caldo e accogliente, che mette subito a proprio agio. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, con un personale altamente qualificato, cordiale e pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con un sorriso sincero. La nostra esperienza culinaria è iniziata con un'ampia scelta di antipasti, tutti caratterizzati da sapori freschi e ben equilibrati, preparati con ingredienti di altissima qualità. I piatti principali sono stati una vera e propria esplosione di gusto, un connubio perfetto di tradizione e innovazione. Ogni portata è stata presentata con grande attenzione ai dettagli e una cura che si percepiva ad ogni boccone. Le materie prime utilizzate sono tutte selezionate con grande cura e provenienti da produttori locali, una scelta che si riflette nella freschezza e nella bontà dei piatti. In particolare, il piatto di pesce che abbiamo scelto era cucinato alla perfezione, con un equilibrio tra i sapori che rendeva ogni morso un'esperienza unica. Anche i piatti di carne, preparati con metodi tradizionali ma reinterpretati in modo originale, hanno confermato l'abilità dello chef nell'unire tecnica e creatività. Il dessert, poi, ha rappresentato il culmine di una cena perfetta: una dolcezza equilibrata che non sovrastava mai i sapori, ma li esaltava. Ogni piatto, dall'antipasto al dolce, era una testimonianza di passione e dedizione, frutto di una cucina che sa come emozionare e stupire. Un altro punto di forza è sicuramente la carta dei vini, vasta e ben strutturata, che propone etichette locali e internazionali, tutte scelte con attenzione per accompagnare al meglio ogni portata. Anche la presentazione dei piatti e l'accostamento dei vini sono stati gestiti con grande competenza, rendendo l'esperienza enogastronomica ancora più completa. L'atmosfera del ristorante è perfetta per ogni occasione, che si tratti di una cena romantica, un pranzo di lavoro o una serata speciale con amici. L'attenzione al cliente è palpabile in ogni momento, con un servizio che non solo è rapido, ma soprattutto personalizzato, facendo sentire ogni commensale unico e importante. Nel complesso, questa è una di quelle esperienze che rimangono impresse nella memoria. Non è solo un pasto, ma un viaggio attraverso i sapori, le tradizioni e la creatività. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante a chiunque voglia vivere una serata all'insegna della qualità, del buon gusto e della professionalità. Dropped in and so glad we did. The whole evening was fantastic, the food, service and atmosphere. We shared the octopus (wow so tender and perfectly cooked and a really nice sauce with it) Hubby had the seafood rissoto and I had the grouper ravioli. Both meals were one of the best we've had in Italy and also Siracusa. In particular the rissoto was cooked perfectly - the rice perfection at its best.

The service was super friendly and efficient. Compliments to all will definitely recommend to future fellow Australians that gets the chance to visit beautiful Siracusa. Thanks for a...

The best sea food pasta of our life. The restaurant has recently changed owners and the new owner Marco and the chef and the rest of the staff are nothing short of amazing, welcoming and so dedicated to what they do. And boy do they do it well, we discovered the place our first night and have gone there 4 nights in a row because it just didn't make sense to go anywhere else. To say we highly recommend it is an understatement, you'd be silly not to try it really 🙂

The best sea food pasta of our life. The restaurant has recently changed owners and the new owner Marco and the chef and the rest of the staff are nothing short of amazing, welcoming and so dedicated to what they do. And boy do they do it well, we discovered the place our first night and have gone there 4 nights in a row because it just didn't make sense to go anywhere else. To say we highly recommend it is an understatement, you'd be silly not to try it really 🙂
