Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with this restaurant. We were so impressed with the reviews left for this restaurant that we decided to choose it as our lunch spot. Perhaps we were just unlucky. Unfortunately, there was only one serving staff. A very nice young lady waitress tried very hard, but she was only one. Because of this there were absolutely a few mistakes, for example we were given the wrong final bill. The food was quite good, especially the mussels and squid, but the portions were very small. The spaghetti is cooked to a real al dente finish, the fish with the olive oil and pine seed were stir fried perfectly. And, surprisingly, the raisin popped in the taste to bring out all the flavors. It was served with bread crumbs!! It added such a magical texture! The whole combination is one of the kind. It’s our 3rd day in Ortigia, we are definitely coming back in this 6 day trip.
