Enjoy Ortigia topped the list in Sicily. Worst service. Highest cover charge. Most expensive and unimpressive cocktail. And longest wait, without bread! We were walking down the street when a young lad told us there was a special offer on, the restaurant was down an alleyway but sometimes the best are. We were led through the restaurant, which smelt odd and out to the garden. We were the only 2 in a Garden of 20 tables. But the service was terrible. No bread, ages waiting for someone to take drinks orders in 37 degrees heat I asked if they had mocktails and the waiter pointed at a mojito and said he'd make not non alcoholic. When it arrived, it was just lime cordial and soda, no garnish. But we were still charged €8 for the privilege. Food was average and definitely the worst of the pastas we had in Sicily over 10 days. The seafood pasta consisted of 80% of the clams unopened (presumably unfresh & undercooked) and the Carbonara was a macaroni cheese at best. When the bill came we questioned the "special offer" we'd been drawn in with and were met with contention. Again, we questioned why the cocktail was no cheaper without alcohol and were met with rudeness. This was the only negative experience we had in sicily. Would not return and would not recommend. There are so many better restaurants who would welcome your custom. I don't doubt we'll get a rude response to this review too. Avoid avoid avoid.

ESTAFA! SCAM. Coperto was 2'5 per persone and no bread or crumbs were offered. The terrace was horrible. Died flowes painted with spray. Pizza was poor quality and small. And the worst thing... They charged us more for the pizza than what the menu said. I asked for the ticket because I thought the meal was expensive. The man didn't wanted to give it to me but finally he did, and the pizza was not the right price. I said to the boss with the meal on my hand showing the price, and he returned me in coins the diference. And, he took me away the ticked again. I know it was at purpoise because he didn't wanted to give me the ticket in advance, he knew. Then we talked with another restaurant wich it is close and they said this was a normal thing they do. SO AVOID THIS PLACE.

We had an amazing experience at this pizzeria in Ortigia! On our first night in Sicily, we stopped by for pizza—and it was so good, we had to come back again. The second time, we enjoyed more delicious pizza along with pasta and a fresh salad. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home both times we visited. Their warm hospitality really added to the experience. Thank you for the wonderful food and service—we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Ortigia!

Unfortunately the pasta was undercooked, and to be honest, was the most disappointing meal we had in Italy. That's my honest review. Ate here the other day. Was curious to read some of the other reviews, and was shocked to see that the owner thinks it's funny to insult customers who were disappointed and have feedback - saying they don't have a good taste, they don't have the money to eat at 'high end' restaurants, must have been too drunk, or it must be a fake review.

Wow! This says it all 🤦🏼‍♀️🤯 Avoid this place if you want to enjoy a nice restaurant with good food, class and professionalism. Even if they did serve up a decent pizza, this type of attitude is a total turn off for customers and they should learn this.

Further response to Enjoy's comment:

I see targeting your customers palate or the amount of money you think they earn as unprofessional - you're welcome to disagree 😅. Defending your business and your hardworking staff does not mean that you need to treat every customer who has a bad experience as a fraud or find personal ways to attack their likely legitimate complaints. I don't think people write negative reviews out of enjoyment - most people only bother if they've REALLY had a negative experience. Customers also work hard everyday to go on holiday, contribute to your tourism sector, pay for the type of services you deliver and we also deserve value for our money, right? Like you have done now, a simple apology is all that is needed from the very start to leave a more positive impression in our minds of your restaurant and perhaps even in future, visit again! No ill wishes, good luck in...
