I think everything other than just cheese and tomato pizza has meat on it; so we thought we wouldn’t be able to try any of their more gourmet looking pizzas. They informed me though that you can take any pizza and remove the meat, I asked if I could have mushrooms instead of meat - no problem apparently so we ordered 2 pizzas and had the meat removed. However at the end I found that they had charged me extra for the mushrooms! When I questioned it they said it was written in the menu that they do this- the menu is online and it definitely wasn’t written anywhere I read: apparently it is in a different section of the website entirely; but what I don’t understand is why she didn’t just mention it when I ordered, which would have saved a lot of frustration. In general not really catering to vegetarians (as a vegetarian I was recommended a potato and sausage pizza and told I could have the sausage removed which goes to show there must be no good...

Awful place. Zero stars. The pizzas seemed amazing, but that's how close we reached to them. We sat at the table, and after 20 minutes a waiter came to take our order after we had called them 3-4 times. The time passed and we had no pizza on the table. We noticed that tables that arrived after us were already eating and our table still nothing. Also we didn't want to drink something at the restaurant (as a couple we don't drink sodas and processed beverages) and we didn't want water as well before pizza. When the waiter asked us if we wanted something to drink and we told him no, he asked us a second time and we told him again no. Then he got mad we didn't want to drink anything and he was looking at us weirdly and started speaking in italian in a rude way because we didn't to drink anything. We never ate. We sat at the table for 1 hour and a half...

Ok you walk past thirty or forty pizza restaurants on the main streets; they are busy, you think “oh they must be good” WRONG. Make the effort to find the best pizza on the island. Pizzeria Anime E Core is worth its reputation. Easy WiFi to then scan menus . In EVERY language I can think of. The guys are happy to explain the differences between an oven fried and calzone pizza . And yes they can do gluten free , low carb , Neapolitan or the PROPER Sicilian pizza base. The fresh tomato topping and generous quality ingredients will blow you away compared to your other experiences at home or in holiday destinations.

Wonderful place for pizza and lunch. All pizzas are made from local flour (Sicilian and Campania [Napoli region] hand made organic production. Pizzaiolo (chef of pizza) is Alfio Russo one of best pizzaiolos of the world. He was on podium (first, second or third) for last 3 years in row in international competition in pizza. All ingridients are local, organic and best quality. There are Sicilian and Neapolitan pizzas in menu. During next weeks there will be new plates (hamburgers and sandwiches) in menu. There is good choice of wines and good atmosphere. Best place on Erath for pizza!

Service was disappointing. We were ready to order, but the waiter didn’t attend to us promptly. When he finally came to our table, he explained that he would take orders based on arrival time, which seemed like a rather nonsensical response; typically, orders are taken as soon as customers are ready. The pizza was overpriced for a basic option, especially considering we're in Sicily. The high price wouldn't have been an issue if it had been justified by exceptional taste from high-quality ingredients, but unfortunately, this was not the case. It was an average pizza—nothing special.
