Ristorante Myle e I Suoi Sapori — Restaurant in Taormina

We went to Myle e I Suoi Sapori for dinner one night on our three night stay in Taormina. The restaurant is located on one of the many back streets off of Corso Umberto. The menu caters for meat/fish eaters as well as vegetarians and has a vast selection of pasta and pizza dishes. Upon arrival we were given a complimentary glass of wine each, we then ordered the vegetarian pizza plus added artichokes and ricotta and spinach tortellini, which came in a parmesan and cream sauce, accompanied by two bottles of beer, a basket of bread and a bottle of water. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was wonderfully fresh. The bill came to about €40 and we paid by card. We were sent on our way with an appertif of almond wine...

We had dinner at this restaurant because of the fairly good reviews it had received. I rarely leave poor reviews, but this time I felt compelled to do so.

After dining here, I couldn’t believe the restaurant had a 4.0 rating.

The pizza was the worst I’ve ever had. It was tasteless, and the dough was undercooked. The texture was nothing like a proper Italian pizza.

Come on guys, you can do better than this…

Really good experience at Ristorante Myle. Four of us came upon the restaurant looking for dinner. The man who seated us and took the orders said he was the owner and was super friendly and helpful. He loved the fact we had come from Australia. After taking our orders he served us some sparkling (on the house) and continued to chat a while. Our food came out and all four of us were happy with the meals combination of pasta, pizza and salads. Local red vino was nice. To finish they gave us another complimentary liqour as a digestive.
