After seeing Anton du Beke and Giovanni Pernice dancing in this square on tv, it was top of our to do list on our holiday! It lived up to our expectations and offered breathtaking views over the coastline a very long way below . A taxi dropped us off by the entrance, and a walk through a fairly long pedestrian shopping street lined with hotels, eateries, ice cream parlours, shops selling high end brands of clothing, shoes, jewellery, watches and artisan gifts and ceramics we arrived at the square, which was overlooked by a church, a castle, more hotels and restaurants. The view was awesome as we'd hoped. Note: we discovered there is a ski lift / cable car there that takes you back down to the bay. We never saw it, only the cables it runs on so I'm not sure how to describe it. There is a beautiful mosaic on the wall on the left as you exit the square worth looking out for. To get to the taxi we had to continue walking the gauntlet of the very tempting shops and get through the arch to a busy area to the Post Office where our taxi driver...
