We visited Da Michele Yesterday at 11.00 pm , we were 3 , my friends were looking for parking , I asked a table for 3 , the manager wanted us to sit in a table for 2 ( dehor was half empty!) So I asked why,..and he responded the table was also confortable for 3 . Then he said with attitude ( what you want? wanna sit in a table for 4?) So he finally gave us the right table! After I ordered water and beer for drinks, He asked where my friends were, because I shouldn't sit without the table was complete.( with an aggressive tone) Then he screamed to the servers, mine was last table the let sit!..The table near us left all the pizzas (nine people!) , they were complaining for quality, but the manager didn't even ask what was wrong ! So they were living very disappointed ...we ordered ours pizzas, and I asked a Margarita well done, and basil out the oven. My pizza was completely raw on the bottom , most of mozzarella was not melted., and the basil burnt!! The only positive note was the location. But I will rather spend my money where staff know what hospitality means, and if an ask for a well done pizza they cook my pizza well! PS For the manager who responded to my review! The dehors had like 7 or 8 empty tables(9 people arrived right after us and they sat down straight away, proving that the tables were empty) and we didn't t have any ticket because as I said many tables were available! Inside was empty but the manager didn't allow us to sit , because they were going to close soon. I didn't say he was aggressive, but I said with attitude! You guys are just caring about the dehors empty or not , you didn't t spent a word about my soggy and raw pizza like the pizzas at the nearby table which people left almost whole on their plates.( I posted 2 pictures!)You will not improve your business with this management.

Scopro che c'è questo omonimo nella mia provincia e che lo stile è praticamente quello. Appena entrati si viene accolti calorosamente da un simpatico signore preposto (non uso termini come caposala o inglesismi perché l' ambiente è molto famigliare) che ti accompagna altrettanto calorosamente anche all' uscita. Appena seduti, la comanda viene presa immediatamente, giusto il tempo di far consultare il menù al cliente con l' addetta che illustra per bene la scelta, niente attese estenuanti solo per ordinare. La pizza arriva da lì a circa dieci minuti, evidentemente è stato finalmente studiato un sistema per evitare attese interminabili di ore e magari anche con errori sulle comande. Nel frattempo notiamo le dimensioni incredibili della pizza cosiddetta a ruota di carro che straborda dai piatti, un sorriso da bambini illumina il nostro volto. All' assaggio, l'impasto è leggerissimo, saporito, il pomodoro abbondante e di qualità eccellente, il basilico ben presente e la mozzarella di altrattanta qualità, una margherita sulla quale è presente anche una buona quantità di pecorino grattugiato. Nonostante le dimensioni, decido di ordinare un' altra pizza pur non avendo lasciato una briciola della prima. Una fritta con ragù napoletano e fiordilatte saporitissima, chiedo anche un cartone per portare via gli avanzi sapendo ovviamente di non poterla finire. Arriva poco dopo la fine del pasto senza doverlo ribadire, segno che le richieste del cliente vengono ascoltate con attenzione. L' altra pizza era una marinara rossa con acciughe dall' aspetto davvero invitante, i dolci non sono il mio campo ma hanno un aspetto decisamente convincente. Una pizza standard come la margherita, costo 8 euro, è forse leggermente più cara rispetto alla media della città ma garantisco che, in proporzione, vale almeno il triplo. In fin dei conti, limitandosi ad una pizza e bevanda, è altamente probabile di spendere anche meno rispetto al solito ma con una qualità infinitamente superiore e un servizio finalmente ottimale con tempi di attesa più che accettabili. Allego foto, concludo facendo i miei complimenti e, quando si tratterà di proporre una pizzeria, farò sempre molta pressione affinché sia questa.

Ho scoperto questo locale cercando foto delle pizze dello storico "Da Michele" a Napoli del quale ho visto un servizio su internet. Scopro che c'è questo omonimo nella mia provincia e che lo stile è praticamente quello. When thinking of good pizza, most people think about the dough, about ingredients and about cheese. On first thought, everybody forgets one crucial fact: pizza has to be served directly from the oven hot, on a hot plate. Unfortunately, although it seemed that this pizza might be very good, it was brought semi warm, not hot straight from the oven. Maybe it is my mistake, I did not specify while ordering. It also seems as if the pizza was put on a cold plate, so that fact also had its effect. This review is to make a plight with people in charge of this place, to be extra careful to use hot plates and bring steamy hot pizzas right out of the oven on the tables, because the name of this pizzeria, quality of the dough deserves that kind of respect. Also, this is just an instruction for people who want to try Da Michele pizza here - stress out to the server you want it hot on a hot plate straight out of the oven, if you want to get to know why Da Michele is among best...
