This is a great find. The food is local, artisanal and delicious, providing a mix of both traditional dishes and reimagined ones. It was especially nice to be able to not only eat well, but also shop for local food products from limoncello to roasted peppers. The fact that you can get local products from Puglia to-go as well as a great meal, really made this a doubly good experience for us. It's also nice you can eat indoors or out, and enjoy hospitable service from the restaurant team run by the owner, Vanessa. We especially enjoyed the desserts! Don't miss their version of a cheesecake, Italian style! Or the pannacotta!

Woooow… 😍

Located a few steps from the Taranto revolving bridge, in the beating heart of the city, 'Passione in Pasta' offers services and delicacies of the highest quality. The location is wonderful, elegant and very clean, a touch of modernity on a floor of 900 or perhaps more ... The service is impeccable, kindness, smile and courtesy, not a common thing frankly, here instead it is at home! The menu is varied, even vegetarian. From fish to dairy, from frying to salmon tartare with avocado, my favourite! What about a touch of class at an affordable price Top ! I highly recommend it!

A True Gem in Taranto – A Must-Visit! Dining at Passione di Pasta in the heart of Taranto was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely exquisite – rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and crafted with care using local delicacies that truly capture the essence of southern Italian cuisine.

What makes this place truly special, beyond the exceptional dishes, is the heartfelt hospitality. The owner is incredibly attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome, satisfied, and cared for. It’s rare to find such genuine warmth and dedication – you feel like you’re being welcomed into an Italian home, yet with the elegance and calm of a serene restaurant setting.

I recently visited Passione in Pasta Restaurant and More and had a truly wonderful experience. The place sits in a charming location (Via Giacomo Matteotti, Taranto) and strikes a nice balance between cozy and elegant.

What I loved: Food quality & authenticity: The homemade pasta was outstanding — fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Dishes like the ravioli and seafood pasta stood out.

Variety & creativity: The menu is varied (seafood, meat, vegetarian options) and includes both traditional and reimagined local specialties.

Service & hospitality: The staff (and owner) were warm, attentive, and eager to help with recommendations. Felt very welcomed.

Atmosphere & cleanliness: The restaurant is clean, nicely laid out, and has a...
