El Mexicano — Restaurant in Termoli

We ordered the quesadilla con pollo and the burrito con carne picada. I have never seen any Mexican food that resembles this atrocity. The rice is not even mexican or the white rice you get at chipotle, the burrito didn't have any ingredients that you should see in a burrito. I have eaten the original Ciudad Juarez burritos, the Chipotle burritos, and the burritos from your local Mexican restaurants found in California. No cilantro, lime, Mexican cheese, onions, salsa, guacamole, or carne asada was found in the burrito. The beans that were served were utterly disgusting. The tortillas weren't even real tortillas they were Italian piadina. The salad came straight from the can and it didn't have lime and salt like a normal Mexican salad would have. Mexicans dont put corn in their salad. Nothing in what we ordered had a single Mexican ingredient. The owner Is selling fake...

Storico ristorante messicano di Termoli, molto ambito in regione e punto di riferimento anche per Puglia e Abruzzo. Vengo a cena in questa magica location da oltre 20 anni con la mia fidanzata, oggi mia moglie, e i miei 5 bambini. Il cibo di eccellenza, viene preparato proprio come una volta, i profumi sono quelli tipici messicani, fatti di spezie, peperoncini, carni, insalate, snacks e dolci. Sono rimasto molto sorpreso anche dal fatto che le pietanze sono piaciute ai miei bambini, che si sa, spesso il piccante non è di loro gradimento, e invece no, anche loro hanno mangiato nachos con salse, chili con carne, arepas, alette di pollo in salsa barbecue, e per chi amava la tradizione pollo e patatine fritte. Degni di nota anche i dolci e gelati, oltre che le bevande. Siamo stati serviti a tavola da personale che ha saputo indicarci bene le pietanze giuste, il proprietario, di una gentilezza senza confini, e la chef, in ultimo ma non perché meno importante, ha avuto anche i complimenti dai miei piccoli. Consiglio squisitamente di visitare queso meraviglioso ristorantino e assaggiare quelle pietanze ricche di quel gusto fatto di sapori tipici e portati avanti come da tradizione da chi questa terra non l’ha mai...

We live in Italy 6 months a year. Found this place searching for a cinco de mayo dinner. Staff was very nice! Margaritas were great, food was very good. Atmosphere is terrific and fun. I was happily surprised being that there are not many Mexican restaurants around. Food: Tacos👍 pick de gallo 👍 drinks👍 Also good vegetarian options. We be coming back...
