Tonì — Restaurant in Termoli

A superb dining experience at Toni Restaurante last evening. I agree with it being a 'hidden gem'. Step down into this restaurant to see a beautifully decorated space; open kitchen, and intimate dining space with a handful of tables. We were warmly welcomed into this family owned restaurant by Toni's son, Mario. We enjoyed chatting with Mario and learning more about the family business. What a delightful young man.

The food was prepared and cooked to perfection by Mario's Mother- 'wow' it was exceptional, love and passion on a plate. You eat with your eyes first- every dish was presented beautifully on the plate, the flavour profile of each dish was perfect. We chose the rictotta and prawn mousse, tuna tartare, sea bass with lime and seared tuna, all stunning! The seafood was so fresh. We will most definately eat there again whilst here in...

It is a small restaurant with a very warm interior. We order one appetiser (shrimp carpaccio) and it was amazing, refreshing, something we never tasted before. Price was 16€ and it was totally worth it. We got homemade bread with it and olive oil which was amazing. For the main dish we ordered gnocchi with scampi, zucchini and tomatoes and spaghetti with vongole and it was so good! The portions were enough. Price was around 10-15€ per main dish, super cheap for the food that delicious. The staff was so kind, despite did not speak very well English, but we figure it out with no problem. We had a little dog with us and they welcomed us with a smile, i really appreciate it! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem of the city!! We would 1000%...

Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante il 18 agosto scelto un po a caso curiosando su internet. Debbo dire che è la prima volta che faccio una recensione negativa, nn è nel mio stile, e tendo sempre a giustificare chi lavora,ma questa volta a mio parere hanno proprio sbagliato mestiere.nn saprei da dove cominciare...appena messi seduti all aperto in un tavolo che pendeva tutto da un lato visto che era in discesa,abbiamo aspettato una ventina di minuti x l ordine.finalmente la ragazza ci porta 2 calici di vino bianco ( greco di tufo caldo)e un acqua minerale.poi arrivano i 2 antipasti,una melanzana alla parmigiana di mare,discreta nel sapore ma piena di olio e una porzione micro,insufficiente anche x un bambino,e dei polipetti in purgatorio,immangiabili.ho provato a masticarli ma nn ci sono riuscito.gommosi e x giunta con un sapore amarissimo simile al fiele.poi è arrivato un primo,linguine allo scoglio,che dire,tutto da rifare,linguine alcune attaccate l una all altra segno che la pasta nn è stata mossa in cottura,poi sotto cera un brodino mai visto nella pasta Asciutta,completamente slegata,e con dentro poco pesce,e xgiunta con delle pelli di pomodorini sgonfiati evidentemente dalla cottura.(i pomodorini o si mettono appena scottati oppure si toglie la pelle...)di seguito è arrivato un filetto di persico con le patate al forno,questo piatto abbastanza buono ma anche stavolta porzione misera...nn abbiamo voluto ovviamente il dolce...e siamo andati apagare,59€.mi astengo da ulteriori...
