We were not “allowed” to seat next to the baluster.

Once we informed the waiter that we wanted a different table, he hesitated first and then confirmed that all tables were booked.

Of course most of the tables were empty until we left.

The few occupied tables were getting special bread (focaccia) meanwhile, we had to ask for it.

The waiter tried to rush us on ordering. We asked the allergens on different dishes served and the waiter kept saying “maybe”. Of course we got a wrong information and one of our guest felt sick afterwards.

Prices were low but the portions were quite small as well. We ordered the Tortello dish and each plate had 4 Tortelli in total.

They were tasty, the only thing was the pasta slightly undercooked.

The carpaccio starter was nice and the rosemary ice cream a nice touch.

The main course with wild boar was a bit boring and chewy.

We receive the dishes but we had to ask for plates and cutleries to an annoyed waiter.

I had a disappointing night.

I wouldn’t personally go back. Everything was addressed to the waiter whom stated that was someone else fault.

Overall opinion: Restaurant decor 2/5 View 5/5 Service 3/5 Food 3/5 Value for money 3/5

I give 2 stars because we were not treated like everyone else and even if we stated our disappointment in every incident we kept getting the...

One of the poorest food I have ever eaten and such a let down considering the top reviews. Italian food in Italy to taste this way is unforgivable. The pasta I had was tasteless and contained mushrooms from a can of which there were only a few. The tomato sauce too was from a can and had a distinct metallic taste which was unappetising. My friend’s pasta with prawns too was tasteless and his special request to add garlic was unmet. Another friend’s request for veg pizza came with prawns. The bread salad Todi style was soggy and the cucumbers were bitter - how appalling is that! The olive oil was of poor quality and the waiter staff were so unfriendly. I would strongly suggest they stay far away from front line work that involves serving guests. It is almost as if no one really cared just because they have a good view and they can get away with it. I don’t recommend it at all. It is a tourist trap; avoid it at all cost. Pizzas are better and that is their only saving grace but really the whole experience is a big let down...

We were staying outside of Todi, so eating out means driving and parking. Not here though, they have a free shuttle service in their own minibus! I confirmed this was the case and the whole thing worked really smoothly. Lovely driver. This allowed us all to enjoy fully the wine and digestivo lists! The service is very friendly and the waiter who served us was great. There is a pretty terrace with beautiful views. The food is of a good standard: pizzas, pasta, meat. I had the black truffle pasta both times we dined there, it was so good. Great tiramisu, pana cotta, cheesecake, semifreddo and lemon sorbet (served in a lemon). The orange grappa, sambucca and limoncello all much enjoyed. Good value. Would definitely recommend for an...

14 of us dropped in announced. They accommodated us without problem. Gave us free bread and a superb garlic bread FOC. Most had pizza which was inexpensive (around € 7) but three of us had this mixed grill which, oddly, is featured on their website but not on the menu. Steak, pork chops, lamb chops, chicken strip, large sausages, all beautifully tasty and large portions. Only € 15. Brilliant value and superb food. Thoroughly recommend *****

Came in for the views, but the rain had other plans. Luckily, the food more than made up for it—it was amazing! Jasmine, our server, was attentive and calm even during the busy lunch rush, which really stood out. The only downside was the loud buzzer from the kitchen, which got a bit distracting. Other than that, everything was great, and I’d definitely come back. Edit: we decided to check out the garden. beautiful.
