Osteria Ossuna — Restaurant in Trapani

We came here for an espresso and a glass of wine to enjoy the sunset and it was great, so went here for my partners birthday, so I wanted to make sure, he has a special evening with an amazing dinner and I chose this place because of the view. We however had to switch to a table inside the restaurant because of birds coming to our table the entire time.. We ordered ravioli and shrimps. There was no salt, pepper or oil on the table and the atmosphere was not great since someone was watching videos on full volume next to the kitchen and it was just very hectic and uncomfortable. The pasta was good but I would have appreciated parmesan and pepper, especially when you pay a 3€ service fee per person and over 20€ for pasta. We asked the service staff questions regarding the food but they failed to answer and also failed to mention that the gamberoni on the menu is just five prawns without any side with a price of 26€!! They also didn’t have much flavor. First of all, I don’t know are there any words to describe this fabulous view. I searched and looked all the osterias and restaurants in Trapani the atmosphere was by far the best in the city. Not only the bire but the music, spaciousness, and all the other stuff. Apart from that, service was incredible! Lovely staff which really cares about you not just trying to charge the highest because you are a tourist. Nearly all knows english which is not crucial but a nice comfort. The foods, they were awesome too. The seafood was really nice and the pasta is great, especially I recommend the spaghetti with tuna such a nice dish and for the dessert the cassata sicialana was brilliant. In a nutshell If I were looking for a restaurant in Trapani I would definitely go to this place, it worths a try for the dinner and...

Non posso Non confermare quanto scritto nelle recenti recensioni. Cena da dimenticare. Poco più di 10 tavoli o meno, eppure di camerieri ne avrò contato 4 che vagavano con i piatti in mano alla ricerca del tavolo giusto (neanche avessero 150 coperti). Ci sediamo alle 21:00 e ordiniamo. Dopo mezz'ora inizia piovere...ci sono solo due ombrelloni. Non siamo tra i fortunati a poterci riparare..troviamo momentaneo riparo sotto un balcone. Ci risediamo nuovamente nell'attesa dell'antipasto ma inizia nuovamente a piovere quindi chiedo di poter pagare il beveraggio per poter andare via. Passano 15 min e ancora non si vede nessuno. Nel frattempo smette di piovere quindi dopo esserci accertati che l'attesa non fosse troppo lunga decidiamo di rimanere. Intorno alle 22:15 arriva il ns antipasto misto di pesce....un piatto rotondo con un impiattamento da far invidia ai famosi mappazzoni tanto odiati da Barbieri..un cumulo di un pò di polpo ricoperto da una montagna di acetelli industriali e sedano, 4 polpettine di pesce e 2 bruschette con melenzane fritte and that's all. Le polpettine le uniche cose degne di merito. Finito gli antipasti eravamo in attesa del cous cous...si siedono accanto a noi 4 ragazzi e dopo poco meno di 20 min stavano già mangiando e noi stiamo ancora aspettando il cous cous (che per inciso deve essere solo impiattato almeno che non l'abbiamo sapientemente incucciato in queste due ore di attesa). Mi alzo per chiedere il conto perchè eravamo già abbastanza spazientiti ...mentro stavo per pagare il conto arriva il cous cous , per mera educazione ci sediamo nuovamente. Manca il brodo...e santa pazienza direi. Inizia a piovere nuovamente.... a quel punto la ns cena era già abbondantemente rovinata ..lasciamo tutto e ci dirigiamo a pagare. La cosa sorprendente è che i due giovani proprietari non si sono nemmeno degnati di scusarsi ma ho apprezzato che almeno il cameriere abbia sentito il bisogno di scusarsi per una cena da dimenticare. Paghiamo il conto, la signora alla casa aveva dimenticato un cous cous e nonostante il ns cous cous fosse nei piatti sul tavolo sotto la pioggia ...ho fatto correggere l'errore. Ho pagato alle 22:50 per intero il mio conto di € 88.00 ( 1 antipasto, 1 calice di vino, 2 bottiglie d'acqua e 2 cous cous).
