Pizzeria Stefy — Restaurant in Trapani

The initial welcome wasn’t very welcoming a loud “it’s full,” said in a rather disdainful manner. Later, they called us back to seat us, telling us that if we were willing to eat before 8 p.m., it would be fine. We accepted since that worked for us. As for the food, everything was very good!

However, the older lady sitting behind us, likely the owner, was extremely unpleasant both with the customers and especially with the staff. We had ordered mussels, and she scolded us and almost forced us to eat them her way. As a result, one person at our table had to spend 10 minutes washing their hands to get rid of the smell.

We truly felt bad for the staff, who were constantly being ordered around by this lady as if they didn’t know how to do their jobs (even though they clearly did, they were competent). It’s a real shame that the experience wasn’t one of the best because of this lady’s...

Understaffed restaurant with terribly slow service.

Waiting almost two hours for pizza is IMO way too much. I understand it's not easy to serve full terrace of people, but if you can't handle it, 1. have fewer tables, 2. consider hiring more than a single waitress that's able to take orders, 3. notify guests in advance they're going to wait long time (especially when it's evening and they have a little baby), 4. at least say sorry instead of silly arguing it's only 1:15 since the food was ordered, ignoring the fact that it took you 35 minutes to take the order in the first place.

Food-wise, pizza was fine, spaghetti carbonara were a dissappointment, tiny portion costing 14€ and was already cold when served. Not to mention you'll even get charged coperto for this "service" on...

From stuff to food, everything was so amazing. Since our first visit we already knew that we will not be there for the last time. We visited this place for 3 times and every night we tried someting new. ( pasta, pizza, antipasti ) We also took some pizzas for breakfast :D ( eventhough in the morning the pizza was not fresh and hot, it was still tasty and tender. ) Service was excellent and lovely. Eventhough there was a lot of people, the ordering was really quick. During dinner the staff always found time for us. All in all we felt welcome every time we visited this place and always felt like at home.
