During our stay in Trapani, we had the pleasure of visiting Ristorante Lo Scalo numerous times, and each experience was exceptional. The food and drinks were consistently outstanding—creative, flavorful, and worthy of Michelin recognition. From delicate seafood to rich pulled pork, every dish offered variety and finesse.
The location is unbeatable—right on the docks of Trapani. Watching the sun set with an Aperol Spritz in hand was one of the highlights of our trip, offering a moment of pure Sicilian bliss.
What truly set this place apart, however, was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. A special thank you to Cristiano and his colleague, who took excellent care of us every time we visited. Cristiano went above and beyond—from reserving us a table indoors when rain was approaching, to recommending the perfect pairings of food and drinks.

The sides of potatoes and grilled veggies were super disappointing too. The service was not great either. And all this came at a...

There is no coffee service available – “We are a lounge bar,” is the explanation given – a shortcoming that is difficult to justify, whether for a bar or for an establishment presenting itself as an Italian restaurant. Caution is advised at the time of payment: the final bill may reflect prices higher than those listed...
