They did put a table aside for us, which was nice. We ordered the "spicy rice with shrimps" and "friturra mista". The food was decent, but quite small portions. The rice was some kind of risotto, very wet with 3 shrimp (unpeeled) which were cut in half. The fried seefood was just a plate with a couple of leaves of lettuce, half a lemon, some calamari and some cod & 1 fried shrimp (unpeeled). We didn't say anything but we expected more. When we paid, the table next to us was complaining. They ordered pasta and didn't like it (they both took one bite). Instead of apologizing, the waiter became quite irritated and asked where they were from and used it as an excuse that they just weren't familiar with Italian cuisine. When they said they wanted their plates taken away and taken off their bill, it became quite the discussion, which we thought was rude. Shame that this is the way you handle complaints. Wouldn't recommend eating here since there are so many great other options.
Edit: As you can see from the response the owner/manager isn't very open to feedback. The couple next to us didn't run away without paying, but did in fact end up walking away (without eating their food!) after a 5...
Read moreGoing through negative opinions... I wonder why? Ive spent nearly 2 weeks in Trapani with my parents and my son. And when we found this place we sticked to it for 10 days. Food is delicious and portions are massive so my dad was always pushed to finish after me 🤣. They dont have a 100 positions on the menu but every thing we ordered were exceptional and great fast service. Drinks are very generous 😅 the best waiter Giuseppe you can ever wish for! Very good english, very patience amd helpfull and he literally saved our holidays offering special made chicken breaded fillet for my picky son who loved it🤣!! I have been travelling a lot through Italy, and I would put this place in my top 5 for sure. To those ones who are gluten free people... Did you really choose this country to visit and expect to change their heritage under your demands ? 🤣 And for those who are complaining about awaiting time during summer time... Try Rome and try not to act like a royal princessess with priviliges 👌 lastly, I can trully reccommend this place. Greeting from Polish family, hope to see you again in the...
Read moreCalled in (alone) around 5pm on a Wednesday mid-May for a drink, and decided to stay for dinner. Nice atmosphere, friendly and calm, watching the world go by over a large Aperol Spritz & a good bruschetta. Later I had the swordfish with a delicious tomato, olive, and caper sauce - it was REALLY good, and came with a basket of decent bread. I then had the lemon sorbet which was scrumptious, a caffe latte, and a large bottle of sparkling water. It all came to about €30. A very pleasant terrace in a perfect location with excellent food, and great service....
