Piccola Osteria Papero Rosso — Restaurant in Treviso

⭐️⭐️⭐️ e 1/2 per questa piccola osteria vicino al centro di Treviso. Vi abbiamo cenato questa stasera e se cercate un locale poco impegnativo e dove mangiare easy e bene questo fa al caso vostro. Mi ha dato un po’ noia non poter mangiare fuori, ma essendo non fumatrice mentre l’unico tavolo libero al momento, si trovava vicino ad un altro dove invece fumavano parecchio e non volendo rovinarmi il gusto della cena, abbiamo optato per un posto all’interno. Dentro è piccolino, ci stanno 4-5 tavolini, avrebbe potuto essere più intimo di quanto sia stato in realtà, ma vicino a noi c’era un tavolo piuttosto chiassoso. Le proposte sono molto varie, da piatti vegetariani a quelli di pesce e carne. Per chi volesse anticipare la cena con un aperitivo, sono proposti diversi crostini preparati al momento e aggiornati ad ogni cambio stagione. Per cena abbiamo scelto un paio di antipasti, un tortino di patate asparagi zucchine e erbette su salsa di finocchi, mentre mio marito un tagliere di Black Angus affumicato con legno di faggio e salame di Varzi dop che ha molto apprezzato. Abbiamo poi proseguito con un secondo a testa, per me polpo saltato in padella su crema di patate alla curcuma, per il mio compagno battuta di sorana senape al miele e contorno del giorno. Nel complesso abbiamo mangiato bene, prezzi consoni a quanto proposto. Probabilmente torneremo ma in altro orario. An absolute MUST. You find yourself in the coziest possible spot in the city, safely nested under a picturesque archway among abundance of plants which makes you forget who you are and where you're from. Carefully chosen combination of crostini followed by light, tasteful, delicious mains accompanied by excellent wines. Staff courtesy and attention is off the charts. Overall, the experience was delightful. Delectable food, cool atmosphere and helpful staff. They helped us choose the dishes and even prepared them very quickly so we could arrive at the airport. The only problem was that, when we paid, they assumed that we would give them 10 euros as tips, when the order was only 50 euros. So, we gave 70 euros and they gave us back just 10… It was bothersome because we wanted to leave some tips, like 5€, which is...
