Hesperia is centrally located and has decent service (if somewhat understaffed) and atmosphere, although it is rather noisy at times.
I was disappointed by the food overall. The tuna tartare was well below average, yet the salmon was ok. The most disappointing part were the clams spaghetti that were not tasty at all. Having spent two weeks in Budapest for work before and living in London I was truly looking forward to a nice spaghetti. Didn’t happen.
I’d have given a 3 star rating, but the owner of the place was incredibly aggressive when I calmly mentioned I would not review the place positively. I thought it’d be only fair to let him know and perhaps to agree to disagree, but I was in fact attacked at personal level. A simple sorry would have been nicer, perhaps, instead of insulting me.
So, bottom line, there is much better in Treviso, especially near the ‘Pescheria’ area. The place is ok but neither value for money nor high quality - far from it, really.

So for lunch it is nice but there is a crowd. The seafood I got tasted fresh and was seasoned well but not in an amazing way. The menu is a little big but a little confusing.. especially the English translation. Inside the decor is not very nice or interesting at all... It is a bit small as well. The location is also a big attraction... Prices are very...

The food didn't disappoint and my photos didn't do the dishes justice. The seafood platter is amazing, with the red prawns and the scampi being my favourite.
I arrived just before opening and was swiftly shown to a nice table by the window on the first floor overlooking the square. I was on my own but was not ignored at all. In fact, I received very attentive service, which was a nice experience.
Shame that I was rushing to catch a train or I would have definitely...
