A great restaurant! There were five of us. We all ordered pizza. The best, in our opinion, was bresaola. From the start, we were delighted with the service, especially Mrs. Francesca. She was very kind and funny. One of the most wonderful waitresses I've ever met. We visited the restaurant in the evening, so the subtle darkness combined with the cozy garden created a very nice atmosphere. The food was also wonderful, although I recommended one the best for me, the rest was equally good and fresh. Even though it closes at 10:00 PM, five minutes after that, the waitress approached us and offered dessert. We didn't want to intrude, so we asked if it was okay that it was after closing time. The waitress said no, and we ordered desserts. I have to recommend the tiramisu, which was delicious, and the chocolate soufflé. Finally, we went to pay, where Mrs. Francesca gave us a very...
Read moreThis could be the strangest pizza I've ever had and not in a good way. The restaurant promises naturally levened dough and southern Italian style with big photos of Ostuni on the wall and I ordered a white pizza with sausage which went under the name of Tirabrace. What arrived was folded and crimped. When I cut in, a pool of oily liquid came out, the dough was soggy in the middle and didn't taste anything like the sourdough I had been looking forward to. I ordered a glass of refreshing red house wine and received a tiny amount of fizzy Lambrusco as if it were a fine wine. I managed to eat half the pizza but it was not pleasant. When I came to pay I had to wait for the manager to come in as the card machine runs of her phone and only works when she is present. I missed my train as a result. 'pizza' plus a drizzle of Lambrusco came to 16.90 including 1.90...
Read moreWe went here last night. The interior was very cozy. The reception was very warm. We immediately felt at home. I went for the "Me faje impazzì" (in English: "You're driving me crazy"), a white pizza with fresh salumi, friarielli, mozzarella and pecorino cheese. The latter did not take the upper hand, quite the contrary: both cheeses were very well balanced and were the perfect match with the typical subtle acidity of the slightly bitter friarielli. This was a pizza that lived up to its name: I did feel as if I were in pizza heaven. It's really incredible what can be achieved with just four beautiful, honest ingredients! Should I live in Treviso, I would come here at least...
