It was ok. The risotto had a good bite to it, but was nothing special. The lamb was nicely cooked, but the rosemary was a bit to dominant to my taste and the polenta came in the porridge form and normally I like polenta, but not in this gluey puree form 😔 My partner said the scallops were nice. Outstanding service, ambiance and food. What a treat - a very authentic and busy local restaurant which was exactly what we were looking for! We had the seafood risotto, which was outstanding and the black truffle pasta (which I felt would benefit from some finely chopped parsley to add some sharpness to the flavour) and the tiramisu, which was fabulous, despite missing the sharp espresso flavour that I admire. Location in the historic center but on a quiet street, away from the chaos of evening strolls. Kind and professional staff, small negative note for a waiter we had to ask for the ice bucket four times to cool the wine. The menu is interesting, typical dishes of the local cuisine. Cooking and taste on this occasion were perhaps slightly overlooked. Rich wine list but by choice we opted for a wine that we didn't like very much. We might possibly return to reconsider.
