Pizzeria da Fausta — Restaurant in Treviso

Place hidden next to canal. Not a "fancy hipster flashy" but old with a soul. We sat next to canal. I looked inside pizzeria and its just as it should be and why i go back to Italy. Because of places like this and not "touristy fake smiles traps". We sat there by chance, daughter wanted carbonara. I prefere neapolitan dough pizzas so i also ordered carbonara (not the best i've eaten, but tasty considering low price) , My wife ordered carbonara too. Son ordered pizza. His pizza arrived some time later, I ate my carbonara and ordered pizza for me. My pizza was brought few mins after i ordered it. Good dough even if it isn't my prefered type. Very tasty ingredients.

I wish there were more places like this in Italy instead of "generic touristy ones".

I wish i had room in stomak for tiramisu (third that day) but "no room" left after carbonara...

A true Italian gem in Treviso! Da Fausta is a typical Italian restaurant with delicious food at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming — you truly feel like you're experiencing the heart of Italy. The pizza, spaghetti, and homemade tiramisu were absolutely outstanding — some of the best we've had!The staff was incredibly kind and helpful; they even assisted us in arranging a taxi when it started raining during our visit. It was, without a doubt, the best dining experience we had during our trip to Italy — and definitely the coziest spot with amazing food. Good pizza, above average, excellent tiramisu. What touched my heart was the kindness and fairness of the boss. One evening before, at another pizzeria also in Treviso, the owner tried to cheat me out of a few euros by charging my bill with something I didn't eat. At this pizzeria, although I consumed two portions of tiramisu and I clearly specified this at the cash register (initially I had only ordered one portion, but because it was so good I took another), I was only charged for one portion..
