As we wandered further down the seafront we started to run into more bars at the cheaper end of the seafront. This has a proper bar vibe as opposed to a cafè. Madge and Paulicarus decided to go for a locally produced white wine. 2€ a glass. Came with more crisps but also black olives. I love the green olive, not the highly processed black abomination. ( DaPino opposite sells pizza by the metre, a long quatro stagioni I think...massed terrace of people scoffing pizza..not a salad to be seen ..already eaten once today so still stuffed.. but I digress!) Love this bar, even with music I do not recognise. Stayed for a small beer a 3 €( German) as well. Would happily come again. ( note, one size fits all hole in floor toilet..)

Al Bareto caters to some of my basic needs in the neighborhood: caffeine, a drink, a sandwich, evening sun, some music and a view on the ships mast in the Sacchetta, the oldest part of the Trieste port area.

Spacerujac nabrzeżem triestu natknęliśmy sie na knajpę niepozorną, ale (nawet jak na późną pore) ze sporą grupą ludzi w środku. Ogladając wystawione na zewnątrz menu, zauważyliśmy uśmiechniętego szeroko Barmana ktory machając rękami zapraszał nas do środka. Zamowilismy dwa Spritze i siedlismy przy ladzie baru umiejscowionej na zewnatrz budynku. Atmosfera bardzo sympatyczna, od samego poczatku Barman był bardzo kontaktowy i uprzejmy. Po drugiej kolejce Spritza dostalismy od niego Rogalika ;) Żegnajac sie, zapowiedziwlismy ze wrocimy tu jeszcze ;) Na dzien nastepny ,oczywiscie znow wpadlismy do wspanialego Baru i cudownwgo Barmana. Gdy tylko zasiedliśmy przy ladzie baru, od razu nas wypatrzył podał nam rogalika i zapytał czy to co wczoraj ( cudowne ze zapamiętał). Gdybysmy mieszkali w Trieście to by był nasz ulubiony Bar. Jeśli jeszcze kiedykolwiek zawitamy do tego miasta na pewno odwiedzimy to miejsce. Pozdrawiamy z Krakowa Cudowny Barmanie, dzięki za umilenie tego pobytu w Trieście
