Bounty Pub — Restaurant in Trieste

Bounty has been a loyal friend of some great nights enjoyed over many many years.

I first discovered it during my early university years. I have great memories of some small celebrations with my friends.

Then I moved abroad and have recently rediscovered thanks to my best friend. Every time I am in town and we can catch up for a beer, it's becoming almost a ritual that we choose Bounty.

Their selection of draught beers is not huge but is extremely good. You could probably order any and be sure to enjoy it deeply.

The fact that they always have some beer on rotation adds a component of exploration and discovery every time we go.

Quite surprisingly I don't think we ever ordered food until the last time a few days ago. The chips were delicious and the menu looked very appealing. Next time I am in town we'll make sure to go there for dinner instead of heading there after we have had dinner!!

I think the only reason I am not coming here more often is the walk back in the night when there are no more buses. Other than that it is an occasional stop for me and my mates. They have large welcoming tables. and also enough space outside to hang out during warm summer evenings. They sometimes do live music too, but even without any extra entertainment it is a cool place to be. A good beer selection, and tasty food. Mi dispiace ma non né io né le mie amiche ci siano trovati bene. Abbino preso tre piatti di hamburger e un panino e delle patatine. Nel menù decantano molto la “goduriosa”esperienza del gusto della carne di scottona con tanto di spiegazione di cosa significhi , insomma indorano ogni porto con tante belle parole ma il risultato è stato veramente indecente : hamburger sicuramente non era di scottona, la mangio 4 volte la settimana e la so riconoscere, duro come la suola di una scarpa, piatto servito freddo, presentazione del piatto a dir poco dozzinale, cibo complessivamente pessimo, sicuramente non metteremo più piede per quanto riguarda il mangiare. La birra invece buona ma molto molto cara, un bicchiere di una ambrata da 0,5 8 euro … follia . Personalmente per me e le mie amiche Pub da evitare se desideri mangiare bene , se invece ti accontenti di una di patatine fritte e una coca cola va bene.

Rispondo al proprietario , certo il mio hamburger è stato rifatto, ma se io chiedo un hamburger con cottura al sangue e devo attendere 40 minuti per riceverlo stracotto e per giunta freddo, allora qualcosa non va o secondo lei è tutto normale ? Lei quando va a prendere un gelato e ordina del cioccolato e le danno nocciola dopo magari aver fatto una fila della madonna … le sembra tutto normale ? A me sinceramente no, essendo una persona di mezza età e cavandomela piuttosto bene in cucina se devo uscire a mangiare qualcosa fuori è perché spero di essere coccolato almeno quanto lo faccio per me stesso a casa, ma evidentemente non è così per tutti.
