osmiza Stoka E.E. — Restaurant in Trieste

The best Ozmitsa I've been to so far in the Karst region and believe me, I've been to quite a few! The management are organised and serious. There's plenty of choice even for a vegetarian like me and my friend who was not. We had two types of cheese, olives, zucchini with mint, bruschetta with tomatoes, bread, Malvasia wine, liquors, apple strudel and fresh ricotta with honey and nuts. Everything was from the local region, so we were told. It was our first visit to an Osmiza and I believe like many things in live this makes you either a fan or you don't like it at all. It was a lovely summerday in July 2018 and we walked up the hill from Miramar we just followed the signs through the backyard and suddely there was this stunning view overlooking the sea. Due sabati fa mi sono recata in questa Osmiza con la mia famiglia. Il posto è molto carino, ben curato e la vista indubbiamente senza parole. I salumi, i formaggi e le verdure molto buone e anche il prezzo abbastanza adeguato. Le mie due stelle sono motivate dalle seguenti ragioni : 1.personale poco accogliente. Dopo aver aspettato un pochino per ricevere il cibo , il cameriere che ci ha portato il tagliere al tavolo ha completamente rovesciato tutto il miele sui salumi e sui formaggi e non si è preoccupato minimamente di scusarsi. Risultato ci siamo mangiati il cibo contaminato dal miele pur non amando amando la pancetta e il prosciutto al gusto di miele; 2.il pane pessimo ,sarà stato anche fresco, ma era gommoso e insapore come il pane che resta il giorno prima nei sacchetti prendendo aria; 3.il vino bianco veramente veramente pessimo e oltretutto troppo troppo costoso per la qualità. Bevibile solo se allungato con l'acqua. Forse la cosa peggiore del pasto che abbiamo fatto.
