Spaccio Pani - Sourdough Bakery — Restaurant in Trieste

Hands down, the best bakery in Trieste, and if I may say one of the best bakeries I have ever come across. I have lived in several places in the world, including Seattle, that pride themselves for good bakeries. Spaccio Pani puts every other bakery to shame. You can tell that the quality of flour here is exceptional, their sourdough bread is absolutely amazing, and their pizza, foccacia, and farinata are divine. I am a huge fan of farinata and their farinata is done perfectly, a must-try!!

Easy going and cozy atmosphere with a homey yet modern vibe. Such a great new spot to enjoy a coffee and some baked goods. You can tell that these bakers know exactly what they are doing and bake exceptional breads. One of the few places to get sourdough and they sell out quickly so make sure to go early. I remember the first time a friend of mine sent a message to me saying "did you see the new bakery?". It was a love at first sight for her, and then she passed the joy onto me. We instantly knew that they would be great, and since then each time we've been to Spaccio Pani we found something else we liked.
