KFC — Restaurant in Turin

Tried the new limited-time burger inspired by Squid Game—honestly, one of the worst fast food items I’ve ever had.

The bun was stale beyond belief—no exaggeration, the worst burger bun I’ve ever tasted. The so-called “Korean sauce” was a weird, overly sweet mess that had nothing to do with real Korean flavors. I’ve taken several Korean cooking courses, and this was as far from authentic as it gets. I couldn’t even finish the burger.

They hyped it up with so much marketing—what a waste. If they had spent half as much time on quality as they did on design and ads, maybe it would’ve been edible.

As for the branch itself: • The restrooms smelled awful. • The overall space felt dirty and unpleasant, like you’re eating in a place that shouldn’t even have a health permit. • They didn’t have Coke Zero at the machine. Instead, staff took my cup to the back and said it was Zero, but it had no fizz, a weird taste, and I’m 100% sure they watered it down. Definitely not Zero.

Terrible food, terrible hygiene, terrible experience. Worst...

Il pomeriggio di domenica 9 giugno mi trovavo di passaggio insieme alla mia compagna ed altre persone a fare un giro per il centro commerciale lingotto a Torino dopo il lavoro, e ci siamo fermati per una merenda al volo da kfc consumando seduti al tavolo ed assistendo ad una situazione che definire grottesca è riduttivo: un carinissimo e simpaticissimo ragazzo addetto del ristorante (e chiaramente affetto da sindrome di down) si accingeva per tutto il tempo nelle mansioni di pulizia della sala con una precisione certosina, resistendo con gentilezza alla maleducazione di diversi ragazzini maranza che deliberatamente sporcavano la sala; in tutto ciò veniva continuamente tampinato, guardato in malo modo, intimorito ed importunato dalla 'guardia' (o addetto alla sicurezza in piantonamento fisso nel ristorante se così può essere definito un primitivo del genere), che ogni due o tre minuti si preoccupava di andare a rimproverarlo senza peraltro averne titolo (sei un addetto alla sicurezza e non hai nessuna autorizzazione a sindacare sull'operato dei dipendenti di altre aziende, men che meno se stanno svolgendo tranquillamente le proprie mansioni), e senza dire mezza parola invece a nessuno dei maleducati che si divertivano a sporcare la sala! Nell'andarcene la scena viene aggravata da una dipendente del ristorante, presumibilmente la responsabile del punto vendita che si rivolge a voce alta verso il povero ragazzo con le parole testuali 'devi darti una mossa, devi ottimizzare i tempi, non puoi stare tutto il tempo a pulire qui'. Ora dal momento che ci metto la faccia con annesso nome e cognome, umanamente invito le persone oggetto di tale racconto a vergognarsi, in particolar modo la guardia, perché a una persona del genere non andrebbe affidata nemmeno una divisa del carnevale (vai a fare il pallone gonfiato con le bande di maranza che girano per i negozi a rubare o fuori nelle passerelle a importunare le persone se proprio vuoi fare lo splendido) e perché credo che dovrebbe iniziare a preoccuparsi di essere tenuto sott'occhio da personale delle vere forze di polizia magari anche in borghese durante le sue azioni da sceriffo, ed in secondo luogo la dipendente di kfc perchè qui in italia siamo famosi per l'inclusione ed un collega con tali problematiche dovrebbe essere continuamente incoraggiato ed aiutato, non avvigliaccato ed umiliato in questo modo. Ci tengo in particolar modo a rendere pubblico quanto vissuto perché se mai venissero verbalizzati ulteriori episodi e comportamenti di genere non mi farei alcun problema a testimoniare quanto visto anche in altre sedi se richiesto ed è giusto che di una cosa del genere ne rimanga traccia. Vergognatevi, e se non basta vergognatevi ancora che male non vi fa, mi auguro che ciò venga letto da un area manager o dirigente di kfc e che vengano presi opportuni...

As usual, overpriced. The place is nice though, there are sockets almost everywhere except at one part of it and you actually get the nice view of the bridge ( it's beautiful at twilight). I have concerns regarding the service. Though it's nice, crew don't clean often: lots of left crumbs on the table ( although it's also the customer's responsibility to know how to eat well, still eating fried chicken without getting the table dirty is inevitable sometimes.) and spilled soda on the floor. I've been there few times and every time we looked for a seat it's just messy, we asked for an employee if they could clean some seats but no response so we ended up cleaning the seat ourselves. I know it's a fast food but I'm just stating my experience. I enjoyed the hot wings but not the original because it wasn't cooked well...
