Something absolutely unacceptable happened. A student touched the glass of the food fridge, and instead of handling it with the slightest bit of decency, one of the staff members decided not to let us sit there anymore and and after asking why and trying to justify the situation he lost control completely. He screamed at us and swore.
He was aggressive, violent in tone, and clearly meant to humiliate and intimidate. He treated us with zero respect, You don’t talk to people this way, let alone students you’re being paid to serve.
And honestly, The rest of the staff are no better, constantly ANNOYED, COLD, and acting like we are a burden for simply existing in the space. You’ve turned something meant to support students into a hostile, toxic environment. Huge disappointment.
Update in response to the owner’s reply: I understand that in situations like this, each side will have their own perspective on what happened, and it is natural to want to defend one’s own actions. However, there is a difference between defending yourself and altering the story in ways that do not reflect the reality of events.
I have read your explanation and can acknowledge your point of view, even if I strongly disagree with the way it is being presented. My review was never about denying that rules exist, but about the manner in which those rules were enforced.
I believe we have both expressed our views clearly, and it is time to move on from this, the chapter is closed I just will leave you with one question: what about all the other reviews left by different people over time, each describing the same pattern of disrespectful behaviour from your staff? Fatto sta che non ho diffamato nessuno, ho semplicemente descritto la situazione in cui mi sono trovato.
