Ristorante La Mina — Restaurant in Turin

110% loved this local Piedmontese restaurant and whenever we're in the area we will definitely be coming back! All of the plates we ordered were delicious. They bring you fresh bread and focaccia as soon as you sit down. Best focaccia we've had in Italy hands down! For antipasti we had fondue with nice toasty bread and peperoncino with some sort of fish. As our main dishes I had the tagliolini with asparagus and my husband had a homemade pasta which he throughly enjoyed. They had a great house wine. As a contorno we had grilled vegetables and for dessert the gelato with coffee was the perfect ending! Definitely one of the best meals in Italy that we have had. The restaurant owner was very warm and welcoming and the service was amazing! Got by with my little Italian, but...

A nice and chilled restaurant.

We had a lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the aganoti and the bacon and aubergine pasta, as well as a portion of tiramisu, which we originally wanted just a portion of, but glad that she brought two of them, as they were very good.

The restaurant looks nice inside, with bottles of liquor and wine dotted around.

We were immediately provided with bread sticks and small breads while we waited for the mains, which is common practice here.

Overall a nice experience for our final lunch...

Tavolata di 2 famiglie, chiediamo prima di prenotare se possibile entrare con un cane di piccola taglia. Una volta accomodati, nemmeno all'ordine degli antipasti la signora che prende gli ordini si lamenta proprio del cane. Come è noto i cani hanno come prerogativa occasionalmente quella di abbaiare, cosa che hanno fatto non più di 3 volte visto che hanno passato il pranzo in braccio ai legittimi proprietari. Ordiniamo, tra gli ordini da notare la carne cruda davvero molto buona, tutto il resto nella norma. Alla cassa, conto decisamente salato, media di 35euro a testa con un antipasto un primo e un dolce (quest'ultimo evitabilissimo) ma sul prezzo non si discute perché nel menù i prezzi sono ben visibili (peccato non siano altrettanto visibili le quantità...) ed una lamentela continua davvero molto fastidiosa perché non pagavamo in contanti. La lamentela per il pagamento è stata fatta non per il tipo di pagamento, ma perché non si pagava in contanti, nessuno ha chiesto 10mila conti anche perché su una tavolata di 10 al massimo i conti potevano essere 10, anche se dubito che dei bambini di 8 anni abbiano in tasca un bancomat... (o i tanto desiderati contanti). Poi la saccenza e l'arroganza della risposta a questa recensione la dice lunga sulla gestione di un cliente, a volte scusarsi costa poco e rende molto. Buon...
