Gastronomia - Rosticceria ''Il Pranzo è servito'' — Restaurant in U Pàize/Carloforte

A local takeaway ("gastronomia" or "rosticceria") which makes typical local cuisine mainly for other locals. Located in the port area behind the Old Theater (Cinema) it's a quick and very cheap taste at authentic local homely dishes.

They a few little tables, and you can eat your meal in many nearby places. They also serve some beer and wine.

Their specialty is Cascà (which means couscous in the local dialect) which is handmade in plain sight and served with vegetables (sometimes fish, but that's not traditional). They have various foods including tuna lasagnas, tuna alla carlofortina (steaks in Mediterranean tomato sauce), meatballs, fried seafood and fish, etc. They have beer and a few tables.

Un punto di riferimento per chi frequenta l’isola. Piatti semplici ma preparati con cura e con ottimi prodotti. Comodissimo per prendere qualcosa da portarsi in spiaggia o per avere già pronta una ottima cena anche perché si raggiunge comodamente in auto.
