Oddly the waitress didn't bring a small basket of chips with cocktails. And she made a request to pay cash. Shortly thereafter I asked for chips, which had been delivered together with drinks to all surrounding tables. Her reply was that I should pay first then she'd bring us chips. And so it was. It seemed we were the only non-Italian customers. I can only guess she did as told by owners. No need to return to a place which treats non-Italians differently. I wonder how they treat...

Giro ad Udine, città molto raffinata, con tappa a questo bar.....non solo bar. Il locale è tipico, si arriva accolti da quel calore che solo i vecchi ambienti storici spesso danno. Pulitissimo, con un menu veloce ma sfiziosissimo. Il personale di servizio è stato gentilissimo ed efficiente. Ha avuto anche la pazienza di seguirci in un ordine "spezzettato" e, sulle prime, poco convinto. Non tanto sul locale quanto sul nostro appetito. In realtà poi siamo stati presi dagli ottimi crostini tiepidi, preparati con un delizioso pane e ingredienti di qualità. Prosciutto crudo Bagatto molto buono, gorgonzola con marmellata di fichi letteralmente deliziosi. Ottimo il vino: un Merlot ed un Pinot nero veramente al top.
