Incuriosito da questa trattoria per una prossima cena consulto le liste online delle vivande e dei vini e decido istantaneamente di starne alla larga. Vi spego il perché.

Premesso che ogni commerciante è libero di vendere la sua merce al prezzo che ritiene corretto e che ogni cliente è libero di acquistare con i suoi denari ciò che più gli aggrada al prezzo che ritiene giusto, da libero cittadino ed utente del web in questa occasione mi sento di esprimere la mia opinione in merito alla politica prezzi praticata da questo locale.

Nonostante l’ambiente, la cucina, le materie ed i vini si mostrino assolutamente di ricerca e di qualità, ritengo che i ricarichi praticati sono assolutamente eccessivi e di cattivo gusto, allontanando ancora una volta dei potenziali buoni o anche ottimi clienti da una tra le poche occasioni di sperimentare cibi, cucina e vini italiani di buon livello in luoghi turistici come questo splendido borgo.

Non me ne voglia/no il/i gestore/i ed il personale, ma ritengo il ristorante più adatto a parvenue con poca cultura del cibo che a cultori della buona cucina ai quali sconsiglio di sedersi a codesto desco.

Intrigued by this trattoria for an upcoming dinner, I consult the online food and wine lists and instantly decide to stay away. I'll explain why.

Given that every merchant is free to sell his goods at the price he deems correct and that every customer is free to buy with his money what he likes most at the price he deems fair, as a free citizen and web user on this occasion I feel like expressing my opinion regarding the pricing policy practiced by this place.

Despite the fact that the environment, the cuisine, the ingredients and the wines appear to be absolutely researched and of quality, I believe that the markups practiced are absolutely excessive and in bad taste, once again alienating potentially good or even excellent customers from one of the few opportunities to experience good quality Italian food, cuisine and wines in tourist places like this splendid village.

No offence to the manager(s) and staff, but I believe the restaurant is more suitable for parvenus with little culture of food than for lovers of good food, to whom I advise against sitting at this...

It looked promising, home made pasta, nice reviews, beautiful place. We came for a small bite for lunch. We ordered anti pasti and pasta. Strangely they served the pasta before the antipasta. Then the pasta (ravioli), it was tasting good only half of it was still cold inside and the portion very small. The same was for the torta di cioccolata. Half of it was warm, other half was cold, taste was good but not served good. Also specifically ordered a coffee with the chocolate pie, but they forgot. Waiter wasn't paying good attention. So, could have been good, but unfortunately we do...

Inside and outside dining. Staff is very attentive. A very Tuscan style menu, medium portions, very tasty. Always add the Russian salad to your meal...it's actually Italian cole slaw, a nice side. The drink list is simple, wines and a few liquors, again country Tuscan style, only gin mixed drinks. The outside seating is partially covered, bordered by Rosemary and basil bushes, while the inside is 17th century exposed. We did not need a reservation. At least one staff is versed in English. ...
