This has to be one of the best restaurants in Petigliano. Here you get excellent food at affordable prices, excellent service and a beautiful panoramic view of Petigliano. We had had the antipastis at a different restaurant, so we were here for the main dishes and dessert. You must try the tagliatelle porcini, gnocchi al salmonella and gnocchi porcini e tartufo for the first main courses. For the second course, the Tuscan beef is highly recommended: tagliata di vitella Toscana al funghi porcinu and tagliata vitella Toscana con rucola e parmigiano (with rucola and parmesan). If you prefer a pizza, the Etruscan pizza comes highly recommended and is topped with mozzarella, ham, rocket and pachiano. All this accompanied with the insalata mista (mixed salad) and their very best full-bodied red wine, Vie Cave, a Maremma Toscana. This wine is smooth and soft to the palette; a truly great wine! The desserts also live up to the reputation of this beautiful restaurant. We had the tiramisù, gelato al limone (lemon sorbet) and tortino al cioccolato (a molten chocolate cake) that melts in your mouth. The food was decent, but unfortunately, a truly great dining experience involves much more than taste alone. Service, waiting time, and the attentiveness of the staff are equally important. One of the first disappointing aspects was being informed after we had already been seated that pizza was not available, this in a restaurant that has "pizza" in its very name. The waiter who seated us could have mentioned this upfront, rather than waiting until we were ready to place our drink order. Another issue was the service itself. I politely called the waitress twice to take our order, but received no response; only on the third attempt did she finally acknowledge us. Following this, the waiting time for food was longer than expected. I might have understood if the restaurant had been full, but this was not the case. Additionally, it would be helpful if the menu specified portion sizes. Some dishes were surprisingly small, occupying barely a quarter of the plate, which can be disappointing if you come with a real appetite. I cannot say the food was bad, but it was certainly not memorable either. With better communication, attentiveness, and clarity, the overall experience could improve...

Unsatisfying!!! Unacceptable!!! Disappointing!!! A restaurant with the name pizzeria in it and no pizza when you seat at the table!!! If I would not have wanted pizza I would have gone to a restaurant with no pizza specific!!! From 6 pages of the menu, 3 were with a pizza that they did not want to make on a Saturday afternoon!!! Besides I was very hungry and they brought pasta in more than 40 minutes!!!! Horrible experience! They were lucky because of the cat and that at least the taste was good. But a pizzeria without pizza????...
