I expected a bit more from this trattoria but soon realised when I went in that it was going to be an experience, and not necessarily a good one. The girl attending service seemed like she would have preferred to be anywhere other than in the restaurant. There was zero attentiveness, and it was difficult to communicate with her even though it appears she had perfect English. The menu was basic, so I opted for pizza and fries. My company decided on pasta with cheese. The fries were served first, then the pasta and then the pizza. It was supposed to be sausage and porcine but tasted like tuna had contaminated the sausage. The pizza was extremely thin and difficult to cut, even with the provided steak knife. The water provided was tap water in a decanter. So, the time to pay came, I was charged €4 cover, no bread, but I figured that covered the water at least. Then I saw I was charged €2.50 for the "Tap" water. I have no issue with paying for a meal or someone trying to earn a living, but I dislike being ripped off for a very basic pasta dish and a pizza that could have been made by a child. Hard to tell why this place has almost 5/5 ratings.

The place itself is pleasant enough, apparently popular among locals as well as tourists. However the service was almost nonexistent. We waited for about half an hour or more to have our table cleared, then 20 min more for someone to take our order, which they got wrong, after which they did not suggest to take the wrong item back and bring the correct one. "Sorry i heard wrong, here's your wrong pizza." Okay.. i guess I'll eat it then since i don't want to wait another 30 min for the correct one..

The pizza itself was mediocre. Well baked medium crust but unfortunately with tasteless ingredients. The house wine was drinkable, as you can expect in Tuscany.

Hemos venido 4 a cenar esta noche. Al principio han tardado bastante pero lo hemos entendido porque había mucha gente.

Lo que no he entendido y me ha parecido mal es que han traído la carne fría (cuando se tiene que servir caliente), han traído primero dos y después de un rato los otros dos platos. Además hemos pedido patatas y ensalada para acompañar la carne y la han traído cuando ya habíamos comido la mitad del plato.

Puedo entender que un día haya mucha gente y tarden un poco más, pero lo que me ha parecido muy feo es que a pesar de que han tardado mucho tiempo y nos han servido la carne fría y los acompañamientos cuando llevábamos medio plato nos ha cobrado 2 euros por persona por cubierto.

Si me cobran el cubierto por un buen servicio lo entiendo, pero cobrarnos el servicio cuando no ha sido un buen servicio, me parece un detalle muy feo y poco profesional.

Recomiendo a los dueños desde la experiencia que si no pueden atender a todo el mundo con buen servicio, mejor que lo digan y avisen antes de invitarte a entrar.

Les hubiera puesto un 5 sin duda si hubieran tenido el detalle de disculparse por la demora y por el descontrol del servicio y también si hubieran tenido el detalle de no cobrar...
