Saturnalia Wine Bar con Cucina — Restaurant in Unione di Comuni Montani Colline del Fiora

We went here spontaneously while spending some days in Saturnia and can strongly recommend ! Food& wine were one of the best we experienced in whole Tuscany! Wine: it’s exclusively from the local Agricultural farm. We were given samples of every wine on the menu and the nice thing is, that you can order by the glas so you can try every wine on the menu ;) Food: we took the meatballs and the Tuscan Acquacotta- both amazing. As secondi the lasagna and gnocchi. Really tasty and flavorful food - my boyfriend even thinks it was the best lasagna in his life.

Best of all was the service - super friendly and nice, extremely attentive. Also very nice are the opening hours. They are open the whole day so also very convenient for a late lunch or something between lunch...

Lovely friendly staff, food looked beautiful but lacked heat and flavour and sides very overpriced . My friend was unhappy with her "tomato soup" which wasn't soup but a bowl of minced tomato with no flavour, she didn't eat it, only the crisp bread decorations, the staff asked if there was a problem as it was all left. We explained and they said that menu description wasn't clear and cleared food. Nothing else was offered and she was fully charged. A bowl of tomato and a small portion of fried cecina €26. She left hungry. My food wasn't very hot but I are it. A shame. We wouldn't return or recommend as I'm a great believer in the customer leaving happy even if...

Very rude (and dare I say racist) server. She completely ignored me while busily serving others (3 other ppl in the place!) And cleaning up after others, with zero bother to ask me anything. A family of 4 showed and within minutes they were served bread olive oil and obtained their salad within 5 mins. I was shocked at how blatantly I was ignored. I waited more than 30 mins for the server to take my order and another 30 mins to receive it. If it was not the Only place to eat in the area , I would have left! But there was nothing else available. I did not think italians were racist like this girl. ...
