Ristorante Al Solito Posto — Restaurant in Varazze

PESSIMO SERVIZIO. É la seconda volta che mi capita una situazione del genere in questo ristorante. La prima volta non ho fatto nessuna recensione.. Questa volta lo faccio per avvertire ad altri clienti. Ho telefonato domenica 17 ottobre per fare una prenotazione il giorno 18 ottobre, nonostante la donna che ha risposto al telefono mi ha detto che non poteva prenotare un tavolo per 3 persone il 18 di ottobre perche era tutto prenotato. La ragazza mi offre un tavolo il giorno dopo ( 19 ottobre, chiedendo anche il green pass). Chiaramente le ho detto che non c`eranno dei problemi per quanto riguarda il green pass. Mi ha chiesto il mio numero di telefono e mi ha confermato la prenotazione per 3 persone. Arriviamo il giorno della prenotazione in questo posto e SORPRESA! Il locale era chiuso anche se la prenotazione é stata confermata 2 giorni prima e lasciato il mio numero di cellulare nel caso fosse qualsiasi cambio d´orario. Controllo sul internet, quel giorno sembra che é un giorno di apertura del locale. Dopo chiamare 3 volte, mi risponde una donna al telefono dicendo che hanno deciso di chiudere il locale perche non avevano tanti tavoli prenotati. Ma che classe di ristoranti é questo???? Ho chiesto perche non hanno avuto la cortesia di chiamarmi al telefono per informarmi che chiudevano ( visto che ho fatto un viaggio a posta da Milano per mangiare li e trovare amici della Svizzera che venivano a posto per mangiare in quel locale) La risposta di quella incompetente é stata: e vabbe.... Mi sembra una mancanza di rispetto questo tipo de tratto ai clienti. Non torneró piú. Per me, con questa clase di servizio, possono chiudere questo locale definitivamente. Non lo ...

Edit 2021: They have increased the prices and extremely (really extremely) reduced the portion size. For example, a seared tuna portion used to occupy the whole aluminum box it was put in, around the size of an hand, now for €12 you can get 5 finger-sized pieces. Even more obvious with their sea bass, where it used to stick out of its box for a fair price of €12. As of now, €15 can buy just two tiny pieces that combined aren't even as big as a hand palm.

AMAZING FOOD! We’re from Minnesota and were recommended this place by our Airbnb host. It is right along the coast and very walkable. We were immediately welcomed by the staff and the owner explained the entire Italian menu to us in English. He was absolutely the sweetest. The food was delicious.
