Eceoro — Restaurant in Venice

Waited outside at a table very looong for the waiter, finally my girlfriend went in and ordered. Breaded Mozzarella is very dry, cold and not tasty, it’s filled with white bread (main part of that thing), ham and a thin slice of Mozzarella… the waiter told us that this was common breaded Mozzarella … we didn‘t expect ham and white bread if on the menu only „Mozzarella“ is written. Espresso 2€ was ok and the expensive beer was ok too. Nice place to sit and look around. Waiter hasn‘t came by the whole time we sat there. bel posto dove trascorrere non più di 3 minuti. Il menù recita: scampi e calamari fritti a 20 euro…niente da dire sul prezzo, siamo su un’isola(come giustamente mi ha fatto notare quel genio del cameriere). Se non fosse che all’arrivo del piatto puoi contare la bellezza di 10 pezzi di pesce surgelato e un ammasso di verdure fritte. Non sarebbe stato un problema se ci fosse stato qualche pezzo di verdura fritta, ma era tutt’altro che così, erano quasi unicamente verdure e qualche pezzo di pesce. Quando, dopo aver pagato, l’ho fatto notare al cameriere si è giustificato dicendomi che siamo su un’isola e che sia normale. Non avevo da ridire sul prezzo ma sul prodotto che ho ordinato, che non mi è stato servito. Inoltre il campione si allontana dandomi le spalle e dicendo qualcosa che non ho capito(per fortuna). Entro per sapere cosa mi stesse dicendo, dato che quando gli ho chiesto perché borbottasse non mi ha neanche guardato(paura o codardia?). Peccato perché inizialmente era stato educato. Dopo aver notato che avevamo avanzato le verdure non richieste, ha aspettato che ce ne andassimo per sparecchiare, forse aveva già immaginato, o forse qualcuno si era già lamentato. Il cibo non é trattato come di dovere e viene spiattellato sul piatto con le mani. siamo sicuri che sulle isole arrivi l’HCCP? Questo posto alimenta lo stereotipo del truffaldino italiano e me ne dispiaccio. Spero questa recensione possa allontanare le persone da questo posto. The location is cute and that's about it. The 3 ladies running the place were quite cold to talk to and it was not about speaking English, they understood it just fine - it was as if they didn't want you there. The food is terrible, premade pizza was heated up and it was not even luke warm, hot dogs were barely cooked and bread was dry. The bathroom was so dirty and was water/ pee everywhere.
