Fritto misto — Restaurant in Venice

This is a casual fish fry place, so the service is limited, but friendly and fast. One orders and pays, and the number of the receipt is called out when the food is ready. We ordered a mixed seafood platter, which had calamari, anchovies, etc. All was very fresh and fried properly. Their edible bowl was not very tasty and pretty tough, but it is at least environmentally responsible. The birds loved it :) Also, we had to get inside to get our Aperol Spritz's, which took a bit of a wait for someone to arrive and serve us. It seemed as if the lady in charge just had to 'step out' for a second, which is only human. All in all, it was nice food combined with a good drink. I was feeling hungry as I stepped off a ferry. I had 20 minutes to remedy that before my next ferry. I got a fried fish selection with fries from here and it really hit the spot. Sardines, prawns, mussels, calamari - all the favourites were there. You could even eat the bread plate. Granted the plate wasn't very nice, but it was more tasty than standard non-edible plates.
