We were the only tourists and the atmosphere was genuinely like you would expect from a local restaurant.
Fantastic food and great service. The menu is small, but had enough variety to choose from. We had a starter, two mains and two deserts. Portions are moderately sized, so it makes sense to have at least two courses. Everything was super delicious, especially the fish. A waitress took the time to help us with the Italian menu. The price of the food is very good for the quality, between 10-16€ (5€ for homemade desert).

Read moreLocals, locals, locals...not just a meal, an experience. Sort of a churrascaria in reverse, instead of food coming to you, you go to the tapas island and get what you want. I had a delightful young lady with good English skills who spent the time with me to help me complete round one, including a wonderful house wine, and left the tab open for round 2 and 3. Plenty of room inside, so don't be intimidated if you walk up and see a large crowd as many of the locals, kids included, are just imbibing and eating in the street. Had a blast, see for yourself, and enjoy the food (good, but not necessarily great), nice wine, and great experience (for a foreigner)....

I could not understand proper italian and he was speaking fast. I asked if 3.5 euros was the weight for shrimp and he said yes. I took 5 shrimps and in the end I had to pay 17.50 euros for that, because in fact it was 3.5 euros a shrimp! I took a plate of different tapas and it was really expensive for nothing in the plate. It was good. Only the blond lady at the bar was welcoming. If you are a tourist dont go there! There are so many others restaurant where Italians are so nice...
