This is a very small restaurant that me and my friends found while taking a walk. We stopped by and the lady who was serving came with the menu to us and explained every single product to us, in detail. The menu was hand written because they change the menu frequently, depending on the fish that they find. They can also adjust the food according to your needs. If you ever find artichoke with creamy fish, I recommend you to try it. It was a very good starter. We also tried melon with prosciutto and even if the combination seemed a little bit strange for us, the prosciutto we had was excellent, very tender and flavourful. As main dish we asked for home-made pasta with fish ragout which contained a combination of mussels, tuna and seabass. The lady asked if we liked it a bit spicy and we said yes but when the pasta came, it was extra spicy, at least for our taste. One of my friends asked the lady to adjust the pasta to make it less spicy and the lady was really open to her suggestions. In the end, the pasta was still very spicy unfortunately but the lady was not upset, she actually apollogized many times and even gave us a dessert at the table. She was really nice and you would like to meet such staff in every restaurant you go. Apart from the spiciness, I really enjoyed the taste of the main dish, the homemade pasta was really delicious and the fish ragout tasted good as well. Overall, I recommend this place but be aware that if you are not used to frequently eat spicy, better do not ask for the food to be even a bit spicy because it might be more than what you are used to.

On our last day of our trip in Venice, we were walking and stumbled upon this restaurant and decided to stop by and eat here for lunch. Spoiler alert: this was our best meal we had in Venice by far. Our waiter was super sweet and attentive and made us feel very welcome. Additionally, all of the food they had was evidently very fresh from the beginning, as they have various dishes that are “of the day” on the menu. We started off with the prosciutto di Parma with burrata and pumpkin sauce which was absolutely divine. Then we ordered the lasagna of the day, which was bolognese, the tagliolini alla tartufo, and the tagliolini with spinach sauce and almonds. The presentation of all three dishes were lovely; extremely elegant and with edible flowers on top of all of them. They were flavorful and perfectly portioned. Though we were starting to get full and already satisfied, we were so pleased with the dishes that we thought it fit to also get the lamb chops, which did not disappoint. To top it all off at the end of our meal we were gifted complimentary meloncellos and biscuits. Would recommend this to anyone if they want a beautiful, low-key meal in Venice!

Absolutely wonderful! Our diner got a bit delayed due to previous customers staying for hours after the end of their diner, but the staff was very accomodating and treated us to a glass of wine! The atmosphere is very simple yet welcoming, exactly what we were looking for. Cosy and lively. Now the food... It was to DIE FOR. I still dream of these gorgonzola gnocchis that made me travel, and the pistachio lava cake was certainly made by angels. The staff was incredibly nice to us, we felt very welcomed and treated like guests, not just another group of stupid tourists. We're really grateful for that. So, we loved eating there. We loved experiencing the atmosphere there. We loved exchanging there. You understood. We loved this Osteria so much for this diner that took us out of the time and space. It is a place we will keep dearly close to our hearts.

Acquaintances had recommended this restaurant and we made a reservation for our last night in Venice. Honestly we wished we had gone earlier, as we would have gone back. The food is wonderful. We both ordered pasta - my husband had a seafood pasta and I had spaghetti carbonara. I realize that's not a Venetian dish, but it was probably the best I've ever had in a restaurant. I think their house made pasta makes all the difference - it's excellent. We also shared a pistachio soufflé - I'd say it was more like a molten cake than a soufflé - but regardless, it was very very good. My only regret was that I wasn't that hungry - otherwise we might have shared a pasta and I would have ordered one of their fish dishes. It seems all of the restaurants bring diners a complimentary glass of limoncello, but this restaurant gave us a glass of meloncello which was lovely. The restaurant is small and not located on a square, but in a narrow street. We were fortunate to be able to eat outside, but it did fill up quickly, so reservations are recommended. We've been in Venice a couple of times, and this is our new...
