Parco delle Rose — Restaurant in Venice

My visit to Parco delle Rose on Lido Venezia left me with a delightful culinary experience. The food was truly exceptional; I had the pleasure of trying their Sarde Soar, which was a burst of flavors that perfectly captured the essence of Venetian cuisine. The pizza, too, was scrumptious and well-prepared, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.

The service at the restaurant was commendable, as the staff was attentive, accommodating, and ensured a pleasant dining experience. Their friendly and efficient approach made the meal all the more enjoyable.

The restaurant's ambiance was equally pleasing, with plenty of shaded tables set in a charming little garden area. It created a serene and comfortable atmosphere, ideal for a relaxing meal amidst nature's beauty.

The only minor downside was the design of the toilets, which were surprisingly low to the ground. While this did not significantly detract from the overall experience, it was an unusual aspect worth mentioning.

I would prefer zero stars, but the Ambiente was okay at least. It started with okay-cocktails while we were waiting for a free table. And that was the only good to say about the mess. Ah okay, maybe the fresh baked bread and the olive oil as an Appetizer (chapeau for this service).

The „Gnocchi with Scampi and rocket“ doesn’t earn the Title. Gnocchi seems like small wheat doughballs with some sliced tomatoes. My old granny would create better ones, if this was the challenge! The scampi were an absolute insolence. They shredded the scampi and dunked it in batter. All in all we count about 2 scampi in the whole dish and everything was drowned in oil and garnished with one (1) shredded rocket-leaf. Buon Appetito.

I could go on with the other dish but yes, maybe we stop here with the food. Maybe the other main courses are better, but I can only rate the ones, we ordered.

Let us talk about the service: zero points. Absently, grumpy and not hospitable.

Please walk on a few streets and look for a classy, kindly and authentic location, which are pleased to have you there with lower prices.

This is the worst restaurant I've ever visited. Customer service is -0 unfortunately ,you can only give a minimum review of 1⭐. I ordered a rare fillet stake and was given a well done cheap beef steak (not fillet ) when I questioned it I was dragged into the kitchen to my horror i had the cut of beef thrown at me ,with a demand that it was a fillet of beef. Unfortunately for them I used to be a chef. The bill was 101 euro, I paid 90 euro as the price of cheap steak and poor service (which was what I found acceptable) the owner/manager threw the bill across the restaurant and started to become abusive and shout, he made a huge issue about it, one of the waiters started to get physical about the issue ,which was disturbing to other diners . There is no excuse they are trying to rip off customers and abuse them if they complain. Prior to the poor food ,the waiter was rude and abrupt . This conflicted the Welcome from the gentleman on the street that brought my family into the establishment.
