Service was poor..we wanted to share a pizza and he was very rude to say that’s not allowed and made it a big deal then laughed when we were confused and aggressively walked away. The next server that came was much nicer however they very quickly throw the coperto on the table then charge you 4 euros for it even when it’s untouched. Also it’s not even good bread, it’s bad packaged breadsticks. Food was basic, I’ve had better Caesar salad in the states. Skip this place. Clearly we’re in a tourist place and would appreciate to have a reason as to what we are doing against etiquette to learn, not to be shamed.
Adding on from the response from the owner - this was not disclosed. If it were, we would be prepared for the response and like I said it was an opportunity for you to teach us, not to embarrass us. I did not post this review for satisfaction, I posted it to help others and hopefully help you to educate your staff on how to respectfully talk to clients. That being said, your per person rate is a lie because the people next to us were a table of 3 sharing a salad and a pizza. So please, take notes and maybe you’ll stop getting bad reviews based...
Read moreTo Say it just straight away, I think I would rater eat at McDonalds or go hungry than eat a second time at this restaurant. This is just not what you want to eat during your holidays in Italy!! I actually gave one star only because of the waiters; these guys just cannot help the miserable quality of the kitchen. I ordered a steak viennese (breaded and fried or roasted pork steak), it was a prefabricated and then shelfed and cooled to near death piece of something without taste or crust. The side dish of roasted and with rosemary seasoned potatoes had a greyish color with shriveled skin and a foul taste mixed with the smell of too old frying oil. I returned them and ordered french fries instead. The fries served pale, with too less time in the deep fryer, fried in the same old oil I had tasted before, completely unsalted, mushy and foul tasting as well. The side salad and the glas of wine they served were ok. Of course it was not expensive but it is acctually possible to eat cheap and good for the same amount of money just...
Read moreThe prices were extremely high. We ordered a pizza, pasta, and melanzane alla parmigiana (eggplant with Parmesan). I asked for the parmigiana to be cut, but the waiter refused, saying he couldn’t do it. Normally, a proper knife should be provided for that kind of dish, but there was only a breakfast knife on the table.
The waiter was completely uninterested and inattentive. The portions were shockingly small. I weigh 72 kg and I’m not a heavy eater, but neither the pasta nor the parmigiana would satisfy an average adult. The pasta portion looked more like a side dish than a main course.
The pizza was okay in terms of taste, and not too small, but still not filling. To be honest, one pizza here felt like eating a small döner – to feel full, I would have needed two. Overall, it was disappointing and definitely not...
