Ristorante Brunch Republic Mestre — Restaurant in Venice

I ordered avocado toast with poached eggs. The eggs came cold, like they were from the fridge. I asked the waitress if it was normal. She went to the kitchen to ask and then came to tell me that it was not normal. They changed my eggs but brought them on the same avocado toast. I also ordered healthy pancakes with buckwheat flour. On the menu, it was written that they were served with blueberries but there were only 3-4 blueberries on the plate. The pancakes were so dry that it was almost impossible to eat them without fruit. The music was so fast beat and loud. Luckily, they turned it down when I asked. The waiters/waitresses were very polite. The place looks very nice but the overall experience was...

I don’t recommend eating in here. We have ordered their new bagel (that’s supposed to be great) but it turned out to be a great disappointment. The egg wasn’t cooked well, the bottom was burned but at the same time there were still raw egg whites and the bread seemed old. We also ordered lotus pancakes and it tasted very bland so are the drinks. The particular drink with marshmallows tasted like spoiled milk. Being charged 32€ for this quality of food is very disappointing. I’ve already eaten many times in this brunch cafe in the past and the food was excellent just like the ambiance. I don’t know why the food quality degraded, maybe they changed the cooks like they changed the menu?...

Brunch is the kind of place where you can have any kind of breakfast, starting from the classical Italian with capuccino and cornetto to the full British breakfast. The place has a lovely style, informal and friendly, well organize even with some table outside for the guest that prefer some fresh air. The quality of the food is good but the presentation make it special. The menu is wide enough for any guest to be satisfied, I personally prefer the burgers, the pancakes and the bagels, but i have never been disappointed. Last thing worthy of mention is the staff, they deserve all 5 stars, always smiling, kind and attentive they are definitely the cherry...
