Ristorante Pizzeria "Al Fapanni 30" — Restaurant in Venice

Probably the racist restaurant I have ever visited. After going through the reviews, me and my wife visited this restaurant thinking about having some vegetarian pizza. As soon as we entered, we asked for the menu and the waiter showed a QR code where we could find menu. After giving a glance, we were happy with veg options and decided to dine in. When the waiter was showing us the table, an old man(probably owner) came across and saw that we are not white. He immediately told the waiter not to let us have food and he said that the restaurant is fully booked. We could literally see more than 10 vacant tables. We had to leave without having food. Disappointing and unfortunate to see that racism still exist...

The best home cooked, authentic Italian pizza and pasta in mestre. The have the best gluten free and dairy free pizza and the first place that I found where they even offer a calzone option and the pizza doughs are fresh homemade dough and not frozen which you would typically find in other restaurants. Pasta is fresh pasta. Staff very friendly .Good prices for what the offer. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in mestre and want to have a real homemade gluten free pizza . The food was delicious. We had bolognesse pasta and Capricciosa pizza. From the sides, we tried grilled vegetables super nice, but what really grabbed my attention was the delicious fries. Clean new oil, fries were not frozen but from fresh potatoes. Desserts: We had tiramisu my advice work more on that desert was not great. The tart, though, was amazing.
