Unfortunately, we we served by a very unfriendly person. So, 1 star goes to a black-bearded snobbish guy who spoiled our experience in Venezia. What’s the point to work in service if your job should be avoiding people.
For the travellers who seek good food and can abstract themselves from arrogance and snobbism, and to respect the chef, I have to admit the food is above average (however, a bit overpriced).
There was also a very kind person serving us coffee in the end, to whom I would like to say thank you (without beard). I should have asked names.

I had the catch of the day with garden vegetables (a side of swiss chard for 10€!) which was ok, but not spectacular either - fish slightly over for my taste. No olive oil served to moisten it, but then I didn't ask for any either. Two of the group had fish risotto which was described as bland. Mixed fried fish looked ok, but I didn't try. The staff were great - the setting was pleasant and quiet, away from the maddening crowds...
