So we were walking around trying to find somewhere to have a typical American/English breakfast, and were not having any luck. We popped into this place just to see, since they had such a large menu. We were greeted by a very nice gentalmen, owner, Rafee. Once we walked in he asked what we were in the mood for, we told him and he said he could make it happen. I asked about fruit and he cut up 2 oranges for us. Being gluten free makes traveling hard but this place made it easy. He even prepared some rice for me. It mostly serves Italian food but has a few Indian dishes. Then, come to find out, he has gluten free pizza. He went over their process and if you are super intolerant, or even allergic, this place is for you, this coming from a registered nurse. Our breakfast came out as ordered. My other half ordered an omlett and I ordered eggs and bacon. Specify how you would like your eggs cooked. Also, the coffee was fantastic. Make sure to ask about pricing. The menu prices seem reasonable, but we were kinda mind blown by the price of our breakfast. 36 euros: two sliced oranges 7 euros (peal still on), two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and an omelette totalled 18 euros, side of rice 5 euros, double espresso 4 euros, small bottle of water 2 euros. We talked about going back for all meals but I can't bring myself to give anymore money. I feel taken advantage of. But the service was great and so was the food, the prices were...
Read moreThis place is located in the wonderful location of Dorsoduro - one of the most peaceful and most beautiful neighborfoods in Venice. There is very nice view from the countryard of the restaurant. The food is fantastic, despite not being the most authentic for Venice. The coffee was actually not that good for Venice - I ordered an espresso. The prices are very low compared to Venice historic centre. The staff is helpful. The only downside is pidgeons lurking in the contryard and service loudly talking to the phone most of the time. Other than that, this is very wonderful restaurant. Give it a visit if you are on your way to or from the...
