Pizzeria Bellavista — Restaurant in Vercana

The restaurant is set in a truly beautiful location, and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Unfortunately, our experience with the food and service left much to be desired.

The pizzas were disappointing in both taste and quality. Communication was difficult, as there was no service in English, and the staff came across as quite rude. Our order was forgotten, and we were left waiting for a long time—especially challenging as we had two small children with us.

It also became clear that the restaurant is not very child-friendly, which made the overall experience even more uncomfortable. While the setting is lovely, we wouldn't return based on the poor service and unwelcoming attitude...

I recently had a very disappointing experience at a pizza restaurant in Italy. The service was extremely poor. When we arrived, the woman attending us immediately got angry and kept complaining because we wanted to push two reserved tables together so our group could sit together. This simple request seemed entirely reasonable, but it was not well-received. For the rest of the evening, she disappeared and we didn't see her again.

To make matters worse, this woman was yelling at the other staff members throughout the evening. The pizza itself was okay and the view was nice, but the unpleasant service really ruined our experience. I would not recommend this place based...

This was a great find during our stay in Vercana. I'm Italian, but I live in the US and I have to say it was one of the best pizza I had during my 2 weeks vacation. We were a group of four and were able to sit outside on the terrace. What a view! The service was very good, and we felt like family in no time. I didn't read other reviews before picking this place, but I can see where expectation collided, especially when some clients were attempting to re-arrange tables on the balcony. Maybe it's customary to do whatever you want in your country of origin, but that's not always the case in other country/places you visit. Don't be rude and you'll be treated...
