Osteria all'Organetto — Restaurant in Verona

When civil behavior is met with extreme rudeness. After we arrived at 2:15pm on the 29th of December and announced that we made a reservation and got a confirmation 1h30 ago, we got a condescending, rude and uneducated response from the man on the counter claiming that the restaurant “just saw it” and that it was ridiculous to expect them to honor an online reservation. I’m pretty sure the food is fantastic, but instead of simply and gently apologizing for the oversight and trying to find a suitable solution, we were aggressively handled and almost insulted by the man on the counter. Not sure if they check that their staff are fit to be dealing with customers but it’s a shame to witness this in a city like Verona. La mia esperienza all’Osteria L’Organetto è stata purtroppo deludente sotto diversi aspetti.

Servizio: Il personale sembrava disorganizzato e poco attento. I tempi di attesa sono stati lunghi e, in generale, abbiamo avuto la sensazione di un’atmosfera caotica e poco professionale. Ci sono stati episodi di comportamento inappropriato da parte di un cameriere (avance ad un membro del nostro gruppo) che non posso ignorare, e che hanno contribuito a rendere l’esperienza spiacevole.

Cibo: Le aspettative erano alte, ma i piatti sono risultati al di sotto della media. Il risotto alla zucca e gamberi era insapore, con riso cotto male e ingredienti poco freschi. La carne di manzo era in gran parte grassa e difficile da mangiare, mentre il purè aveva una consistenza e un sapore poco gradevoli. Purtroppo, nulla si è distinto in positivo. Ci siamo tutti alzati da tavola con dolori allo stomaco.

Ambiente: L’atmosfera del locale non aiutava: l’ambiente appariva poco curato e non invitante.
