🍕 We walked by Pizzeria Del Franco on a Saturday night and it was bumping!! Mama Mia!!

We made a mental note to come back the next day and we were glad we did! The pizza was excellent! Cooked perfectly with crisp edges with slightly gooey center. My wife and I enjoyed 2 personal pizzas - Prosciutto and mushroom/sausage - and a half bottle of chianti. The perfect end to a great day of exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast!

The atmosphere was perfect- busy but not crowded, not overly noisy and the manager was walking around making sure everyone was taken care of. The service was attentive but not overly intrusive.

Disappointing and rude — I won’t be coming back. I’ve been coming here the last 29 years but this time was a truly negative experience. We ordered a margherita pizza, which is clearly listed on the menu with mozzarella, but it was served with provola instead. When we pointed this out, the waitress rudely replied that “that’s how a margherita is made” — even though that’s not what the menu says. She only asked if anyone had an allergy, but they didn’t offer to remake the pizza correctly or remove it from the bill. Unprofessional and disrespectful customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.
