Ristorante Cerasè — Restaurant in Vico Equense

Not long home but felt compelled to leave a review , quite long 😬

My wife and myself only had 4 nights in Vico and went every night after our day trips. We'd stop by for a drink overlooking stunning views. I'll try and post some photos

The staff and owner were warm and so welcoming. Couldn't have been friendlier. This comes from being a proper family business I think. We hadn't eaten there yet because being honest seafood isn't her first choice. It is mines though.

But our last night coincided with the Napoli game to win Serie A. So before taking the game in at the town square we went for dinner.

I had the fried fish. Now this is my favourite thing in the world with a cold beer and I've had it many times to different levels but this was up there as the best. Done perfectly with each different piece of fish done to perfection . My wife had a beautiful pasta with courgette. The sweeping views from the dinning room with open windows over Vico and over to Naples. Outstanding and only added to the atmosphere and charm.

This restaurant helped make our holiday so memorable. When you visit somewhere new and are made to feel so welcome that is genuine it helps someone like myself relax into my holiday. Last part I promise( I lied sorry) The staff that night of the Napoli game when they won we're amazing pre match. Flags and singing. Just amazing night. This was our regular and I'd advise to make it yours if in Vico Whether only stopping by once or every night you'll feel like a regular. We loved Vico and we loved Cerasè. They are one of the same. Stunning and warm and friendly.

My wife doesn't like to go to same place twice but she said she wants to return to Vico and that has a lot to do with how we were treated. Thanks again for helping make our short stay in Vico so memorable.

This has been possibly been one of the best holidays experiences of my life. Of course watching Napoli becoming champions had something to do with it 😉

Great location with a view on the bay. Really good food. But the service is so awful that I don't think it's worth coming here... We were there two times. First time, waiter forgot about us, then we have waited almost 2 hours for the meal. Waiter veeery rude. We thought that's all because of really big amount of people. We decided to give one more chance. Unfortunately it wasn't better - despite of lots of free seats. 20 minutes of waiting for menu. In the meantime, two other tables with new guests, got their menu. Than, another 20 minutes to order. In the same time, waiter was 3 times in other tables only for small talk. He was still arogant. Another thing- when you have a sit, you're getting a bottle of water that you didn't ask for and of course you have to pay for it. Our feeling after that two visits - if you don't order a bottle of really expensive wine you're not worth the attention of that restaurant. For your information- that is not making me a worse person and I should be treated like other customers. Maybe you felt better but I think it's just weak and funny. We had an amazing dinner at Cerase. Our cab driver recommended the place and he sure has taste. This restaurant again ( like all other in the area) has an amazing view of the sea and you can see it from the dining room even if you are seated indoors through huge glass windows. Out server was very friendly and funny. He was joking with us all the time and we had a great time. The wine list was eclectic and the wine we picked was out of the world. I love seafood so I did the seafood grilled platter. Everything was so fresh. Only for 20 euros it had two large prawns, squid, tuna and sword fish.
