My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Terramia on a recent Sunday night, and our experience was exceptional in every regard. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a delightful evening.

Upon being seated, we were greeted by our waiter, Marco, whose friendly demeanor and knowledge of the menu significantly enhanced our dining experience. He was particularly adept at explaining the specials, including the fresh catch of the day.

We started our meal with two orders of meatballs served with a cheese sauce. These meatballs were truly outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors that left us wanting more. Additionally, the bread and olive oil served were plentiful and fresh, providing a perfect start to our meal.

For her main course, my wife opted for the Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce. She was extremely pleased with her choice, describing it as delicious and perfectly cooked. The rich and savory sauce complemented the rigatoni beautifully, making it a memorable dish.

I chose one of the fresh catch options, a type of tuna, which was an absolute highlight of the evening. Marco brought an assortment of fresh fish to our table, allowing me to select my preferred catch. After my selection, the fish was expertly grilled, and Marco presented it tableside. His skillful preparation was a spectacle in itself; he carefully removed the bones, head, and other unwanted parts before slicing the fish into perfectly portioned filets. The tuna was then topped with a delightful mixture of olives, cherry tomatoes, and a seasoned olive oil sauce. The combination of fresh, vibrant flavors was exquisite, making it one of the best fish dishes I have ever had.

Marco also assisted us in selecting a white wine that perfectly complemented our meal. His recommendations were spot on, and the wine enhanced the flavors of our dishes beautifully.

To finish our meal, we indulged in desserts along with Limoncello and Liquorice Liqueur, which Marco graciously brought on the house. These sweet endings were the perfect conclusion to a fantastic dining experience.

From the moment we were seated, the restaurant manager, Daniel, provided a warm and friendly welcome that set the tone for the evening. Daniel’s professionalism and passion for food and music was evident throughout the entire meal. Marco, our server anticipated our needs and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Marco's knowledge of the menu was perfect, he offered valuable recommendations that suited our preferences. His genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine was contagious, making us even more excited to try the culinary delights that awaited us.

Throughout the evening, Marco and Daniel displayed impeccable timing and efficiency. They were always present when needed, yet never intrusive. Empty plates were promptly cleared, glasses were refilled seamlessly, and he effortlessly accommodated special requests, further enhancing our dining pleasure.

What truly stood out about Marco was his ability to make us feel like valued guests. He went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, and his genuine passion for his work shone through in every interaction—creating a truly memorable and personal experience.

Daniel has an extraordinary restaurant that itself is a true gem. The food was nothing short of a masterpiece, prepared with impeccable skill and presented with artistic flair. In conclusion, I cannot recommend our server Marco and the entire dining experience at this exceptional restaurant highly enough. You won't be disappointed!

We stumbled upon Terramia, or as we now say, Terramia found us! Let Terramia find you, and you will not be disappointed. We didn’t know that we were going to be treated to one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy, and as someone who has travelled across many regions in Italy and sought out good food, that says a lot.

Daniele, the manager, was an incredible host, and made us feel like family: he gently guided us to local specialties and we sampled tiny and savory fried fish, mussels in a sumptuous Neapolitan tomato stew and a culinary experiment akin to a sashimi cheesecake.

We enjoyed some incredibly tasty home made pastas, sharing between our family of five flavors that we hadn’t experienced yet, or as in the case of the pesto pasta, at the level of the best we’ve ever had (I’m a pesto snob so that should say something).

The desserts were the cherry on top (not literally) with the two local lemon ones taking the price (although the panna cotta was just as delicious but slightly less of a novelty).

Hopefully this review will be found by those appreciating local cuisine, attention to details and the familiar feel and touch that Daniele and his team graciously shares with their guests.

Terramia was the standout restaurant of our Italy trip, so much so that we came back for dinner a second night! From the food to the service, all was truly excellent. Our server Marco was such a joy who added significantly to our dining experience. From his excellent suggestions on the menu to his energetic personality and passion for food & drinks, our group of 6 all had fantastic meals. He provided a personal touch to our experience that really stood out, certainly one of the best servers we've ever had. The restaurant and chef also took fantastic care of both I and my friend's food allergies, with no cross contamination. My personal standout was the mussel soup and fried swordfish, however we thought all the dishes were generally very good, a 7-8 at worst. My mussel soup and friend swordfish were truly delicious with the salty, meaty, somewhat spicy marinara sauce. Excellent, strong favor in a country with relatively mild flavors. Thank you Terramia, thank you chefs, and thank you Marco! We hope to return!

What a find! We were in Vico Equense for our honeymoon and found this place on our way back from the station. We didn’t book a table but were invited in and offered a table by the window. The restaurant is light and fresh with great views and the food is to die for. Marco our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive without hassling us. He was always there at the right time despite there being a big party on the table next to us and made us feel very welcome. He recommended local dishes to us rather than let us order standard things off the menu and we were so glad we took his advice. The local aubergine scialatielli pasta was divine and the calzone one of the best I’ve had but the fillet of freshly caught white marlin in a lemon crust was the highlight for us. Fully recommend this place and the staff.

Terramia was the standout restaurant of our Italy trip, so much so that we came back for dinner a second night! From the food to the service, all was truly excellent.
