I am truly confused as to why the reviews to this place are good. We had a look at the menu outside and decided to go in for a drink after a rude waitress pointed at a table that was dirty. We sat down and had to ask after several minutes for a menu again. Then spent about 10 mins trying to get her attention to order. We both ordered a cocktail and my boyfriend was brought the wrong one however given the appalling service already we figured it was easier to not wait another 15 minutes for the correct one. I then ordered a second drink which was forgotten about. We ordered the bill after growing impatient and they tried to charge us for the drink we didn't get. We went to the counter to pay, reminding them we only had two drinks and were thrown a bill with the cost of five drinks on it. We corrected them again and eventually paid our actual bill. Nice restaurant, however of course since I am American they showed me wines, the prices of which were conveyed verbally. After drinking several bottles, we asked for the wine menu and found that the verbal price was actually 2x the price on the wine menu. They also asked If we wanted to snack B and proceeded to bring out 4 appetizers. We only ate the olives. After going in to pay we said we wanted to pay for the wine at the price on the menu, and we did not want to pay for the appetizers we did not order nor eat. They allowed that without making a big deal, bc we saw thru the scam. Just watch out if you are an international traveler, and if you’re paying attention you will be fine. If you're visiting Vietri or waiting at the bus stop to visit the Amalfi coast, you cannot not stop here! I've had the best cappuccino ever and I was able to enjoy it whilst admiring the beauty of the sea. The waiters are the best and make the whole Italian experience on the Amalfi coast even better!
